lucas
I have both kytac and blade tech. The Kytac is cut lower in front and is a bit faster draw as advertised , but no space to thread belt over a belt loop ,atleast on mine.Things might have changed by now since i have had it for a few years now.I use the blade tech when the pants i want to wear have the belt loop in the way ,or for tactical matches where the need for speed is not as important . n2299
This might not be the kind of Kydex holster you have in mind.... the Safariland Custom Fit 560 holster(kydex covered with leather and suede) fits a long dustcover 1911.
Nick Weidhaas
This is a little late, but Greg at Comp-Tac made a friend and I up some holsters for SV long and short dust cover guns. Get the paddle holster (not locking paddle). It is really secure and solid and easy on and off. Really nice. www.comp-tac.com Nick-
KyleL
635, Definately the Bladetech. They sell a holster for the STI that allows you to switch from Paddle, Drop offset, High ride, all with one holster. Their QC is also much tighter than the smaller Bladetech copies. If you need more info drop me a line. KyleL Viking Tactics
