davidwiz Posted October 19, 2010 Share Posted October 19, 2010 I saw this movie over the weekend. Sadly, I was right. It was pretty bad. The "plot" was all over the place, no coherent story line, absolutely no chemistry between LaPoof and Carey Mulligan, LaPoof still can't act, the needless cameos (especially Bud Fox). Either Josh Brolin can't act or Stone lost his directing abilities (I'm going with the latter). And whoever cast Eli Wallach should be prevented from ever working again. Listened to it for the first time last nigh - it is killer. It is remarkable that such a beautiful collection of music was done for the sole purpose of a soundtrack.
