  1. Could be but if you call them "women" that sounds pretty stale. I can not speak for NJ but down here all our shooting females are "ladies". I can also at least I can say for my part in direct reference to those that shoot 3 gun, they are all babes which denote an advenous and daring spirit more than anything. And last but not least, babes come to the match loaded down with home baked goods! Should you not be on the road by now? Yes Charles, I have my baking planned out for tomorrow. A babe? Huh! I wonder what a plaque would look like on my wall that says "High Babe". That's really funny. Oh well, I won't have to worry about that one for this match. See ya Thursday.
  2. Do you have to shoot at the clay, or is shooting at the activating popper enough to satisfy the requirement? Good question since it could be read both ways. The way I read it is since the popper which activates a clay is worth nothing, you have to shoot at one or more of the clays who are the "targets" on that side of the stage. I am sure the range officers on the stage will clarify it. The course description say you must fire at least one round from each box.(to keep from having the score halved) If you have to engage a clay, that would mean that in the last box you'd actually be required to fire 2 rounds. As you say though it'll no doubt be clarified by the RO. WHOOPEE FREAKIN' WONDERFUL!!!! - Lucky me on Squad 3 starts on Stage 2. I wonder how many hand warmers I can stuff in my pockets. Happy trails ahead.
  3. I've never seen a shotgun checked for number of rounds loaded. But after the RO's have run a few thru the stage, it's pretty obvious if someone fires 10 rounds.............
  4. The Tallahassee gang is planning on visiting you on Sunday. Just how little are those 100 yard targets? They alwyas look smaller with iron sights. HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!!!!
  5. Thank you everyone who had a part in making this match another great one and we could not have asked for more perfect weather. I especially want to thank Cindy for special recognition of the ladies in the match. Hopefully, more will be there next year.
  6. We sitll have room in the match. Friends, neighbors and even sister in laws are welcome! Brownies, guns & ammo are packed and ready to head to Georgia in the morning. See ya then, Charles.
  7. Aggregate means that HM optics and irons are shooting together so we can recognize HM. HM equipment will be as per the USPSA Multigun rules which we are required ot follow. There were 2 applications. The first one only had HM, and the notation about the "aggregate combination" for prizes. A few days later, a second application was posted with separate HM Limited and HM Tactical divisions listed. Are we shooting 2 different divisions but then combining them for match awards?
  8. What a great squad and range crew to shoot with even in the mud. The stages were fun and challenging and Sam was calm throughout the entire match. Thank you for a great week-end.
  9. Thank you for all your work on this. Think we might see some stages soon? Hmmmm??? I'll bring you some brownies if you send them to me.
  10. Roger that!!! You go girl! When will we get to shoot together again? Are you going to Georgia State pistol this year?
  11. Nordic Components ROCK! As always, Michael & I are looking forward to shooting the A6 Multigun match again this year. The Tallahassee gang will see you in October.
  12. Trailer is being loaded and brownies are being baked. Hope to see a bunch of you there on Saturday.
  13. It's Saturday, but are you sure you want to miss back to back stars, from a barricade, with a shotgun?
  14. Hi David - thank you for noticing that. The match date is Saturday, August 8. Sorry you can't make it. Will we see you at the Arkansas multi-gun match on August 29 & 30?
  15. No problem - got it covered!!! Can't have the shooters falling out by the wayside, besides, if I get everybody all sugared up, I'll have a fighting chance. Absolutely, bring your wife. Does she shoot shotgun? Michael has some really cool stages lined up.
  16. Funny thought - I would love to see the look on some faces when they had to take a 300 shot with my Mini 14 with iron sights or got hit in the nose with my shotgun because the stock has been shortened to fit me. EVIL!!!
  17. So, who gets credit for the long range hits - the guy that set up the rifle, or the guy that used the really well setup rifle?
  18. Roger that. Glad to see you got in Hurley - Michael & I will see you there.
