Look’s like I believed the Mars Hoax e-mail. To much information too fast….

*Two moons on 27 August* *27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for...* Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. 3n38 if I can find or afford it, I have been working with HS-6 and think this will be my powder of choice. My mistake, 3n38 is my 38 super powder and HS-6 is working for 9mm major…

These are the people that our kids and society look at as role models and hero’s, I wonder what’s happened to our country?

Welcome, I’ve enjoyed the forum and have found a wealth of information here. If you have a question about gun’s or reloading you will probably find a answer here or a good starting point.

Where is a good source for the battery used in the C- More sight? Tried Wal-Mart, Walgreens etc and can’t find a 1/3N battery. Could try Ebay but the problem with them is it could be used on a gun and I know they would not let anyone sale one.

Latest load information: was told to try 7.5 grains of HS-6 with an OAL of 1.165, Win. Primers and Precision Delta 124 gn.bullet , did not make the major power factor in my gun . So at the present time I am up to 7.9 grains HS-6 with a OAL of 1.170, same bullet and reached a P.F. of 169 using my cheap chronograph in my back yard. Will stop here for now until I can get to my gun club and and use there chronograph. The load feels good to me and can keep track of my red dot in the C- more.

I know that I’ve enjoyed shooting more than ever since I brought my Dillon 550. Like to load 20 or 30 rounds with different oal’s, grains of powder ect. And shoot my wood pile out back. I’ve settled on Clay’s for my .45 loads ( 4.3 grains. with a 200 grain Bullet ). Been chasing that elusive 165 major power factor.

RCBS has a die made for military type primers and its crimp. I believe it’s called “Primer pocket swager combo- ammomaster”. I’ve used one on my 9mm brass with great success. Yes it’s an extra step but you only have to swage the primer pocket once and you can reuse the brass as often as you can find it. RCBS part number is 09495 Primer Pocket Swager Combo $33.95

I wish I new about this form when I started out, there seems to be a lot of people in the world who will sale you the Brooklyn Bridge if you’re new to the sport. To me it looks like a very good way to start in limited completion.

I know that there are many posts for 9mm loads. I am just trying out a 5 inch barrel race gun and have been told that I can ( or should ) make major with 7 grains of HS-6 with a 124 grain bullet with a OAL of 1.170. Any information on your personal experiences would be appreciated.
