  1. For some reason have been wanting a jpoint G22 for a while, I made my ammo yeas ago. Makes major, nice n safe, easy on the gun, you lose a few rounds but whatever...
  2. It is at doodie....realistically, I would say an "athlete" should have 10k fb likes and/or 10k twitter followers. And those need to be direct fans of you, not random bs fans or paid for likes. I think that is the minimum number to draw digital attention from larger corporations. Then you have a better shot of landing a brand.
  3. Think of all the stuff made for guys and send them your resume. And be prepared to hear "no" repeatedly.
  4. Stick with that glock, get an sti once you get a dillon, it will thank you. Bullets are more important than the gun.
  5. All open glocks should be used for steel...except for him, but what it is.
  6. If one has a perfect routine, there is nothing negative about it. Ritual is necessary. Hence ten minute LAMRs and four minute sight pictures....
  7. Your extractor is chipped. Take it out, run a dental pic over the extractor groove, you will feel it.
  8. Japan is really the only country required to use airsoft because of the law. Other than that, I don't really know and would love to see the USPSA get an airgun division...IPSC global village will have the current standard.
  9. We just ran our first event in the bay using IPSC rules and following as close as possible for score and time. Things went very smoothly, and very professionally. The next match will be all pistol dedicated stages, this 1st was a little loose, but it went very well. There isn't too much in the way of international or national sanctioning, we're in on the ground floor. http://www.facebook.com/apshooters
  10. http://www.facebook.com/apshooters First event tomorrow AM, I will let everyone know how it goes. I think it will be perfect and a good time.
  11. Gas blowback for sure, check out the other thread too for modified mags hooked to a compressor for static and steel training. And Tokyo Marui 2011 for an awesome stock trainer.
  12. This is nice, must buy. I just bought a compressor too...100 psi sounds a little too much in those mags but PSI is probably higher with green gas in the heat.
  13. Grandbaggers exist, but they still had to drop those scores. I want to do my personal best in classifiers because that is where I am best. I want that card. First you get da card, den you get da power, and den, you get da women...isn't that what this is all about? And just feel bad for those poor dudes that get the GM card and get molly wopped, because that hurts too. New shooters should not feel any pressure, they need to be safe and not get sent home.
  14. Factime tuneup makes me nervous, but I am going to do it.
  15. Supply and demand. Create the demand, bottleneck the supply, and skyrocket the price. It's like some JP Morgan game.
  16. I like it. Those two need to wed ASAP.
  17. http://www.ipsc.org/pdf/RulesAir.pdf I have an amazing spot in the bay to do this. I found aluminum .3 bbs too. If one were to anodize a bucket or two of them black, they'd be set in the airgun division for life.
  18. Hop up isn't as important as getting a good fit to your BB brand, barrel diameters are into the thousandths now. Nine Ball barrels will drop in a TM 2011.
  19. Oh man, the reliability is horrendous. But I'm looking at IPSC Airgun rules just as a guide. Japan has zero choice, all civilians are banned from guns. The black bbs would naturally keep your focus on the front site where it belongs. Whites bbs sighted over the top would be unsportsmanlike. The velocity max is 2 joules, in Airsoft lingo that is 467fps. I'm just kind of looking at what it is. The higher end stuff is very viable product to train with. Airsoft surgeon at redwolf is building branded limcat and shuey gun look alikes, full metal and weight, plus a lot more that appear dead to rights. Again, I am looking, and I am looking a lot. The future looks very grim in CA...the bay is still amazing forever and ever. These ones are $$$$, but I know some bay shooters have them. I apologize for the long winded link... http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Gas_Pistols_SMGs_Airsoftsurgeon_Airsoft_Surgeon_Slim_Cat_Summer_Special_Limited_Edition_Silver.htm On the BBs we are talking grains the same as powder. I'm sure a .3gr bb @ roughly 425fps would perfect. Lighter that .25 is no good and they will all run a chrono.
  20. I talked to Mr. Pinto last night, he sent me back to USPSA. We don't have an airgun division but we probably should...I'm telling you brah, I play killer air guitar. I am in Cali guys. Y'all do know what means right? We are one hair away from becoming like Japan anyway. I am not leaving and I have the ground to do it. Oh yeah IPSC airgun velocity is all scored minor, but it is 467 fps. That is heat. Black BBs mandatory, we aren't playing paintball. White BBs get a DQ.
  21. That's because calguns knows what's up. You probably will not go back. Welcome. I have the brass for you. Cleaned , sorted and bagged.
  22. I am a part of APSO, airsoft practical shooting org, in the bay area. I am a USPSA member, but was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to get international sanctioning for airsoft. IPSC has an airsoft rulebook, and the rules follow standard IPSC as closely as possible. Has anyone received IPSC sanctioning for ranges in the states? I have a perfect lot, excellent parking, in the heart of the bay, and am already running private IPSC matches with 20+ competitors.
