  1. I was training real hard a few years ago for one of the world shoots and shooting 4-5 days a week and several hundred rounds per day and had a bad flair up on my elbow. It got so bad I could hardly pick up a glass of water. My shooting partner at the time was going to a Acupuncture Dr and she was getting great results for the issue she was dealing with and suggested I go and give it a try as I had all ready been to a couple of regular Drs with no results. I was a total non believer in Acupuncture this treatment to say the least but to my surprise after 6 treatments I was free of pain and back to my practice routine and made world shoot too! I have back issues also and went to see the acupuncture Dr for that to and refereed several other friends with back issues and all have gotten great results. Might not work for everybody but it did work for me!
  2. Thanks for the pic Man that is so simple but yet so effective. Great job and thanks for posting Now for me to get to work and get mine modified!
  3. If you need a lube for different temps try Gun Butter Mil spec rated and it does not care if its 110 outside or 40 below it stays the same viscosity and works great.
  4. Dale, Sorry for the late reply.. I put mine right out of the box and it was perfect. I am thinking you got a out of spec one and it needs to go back.
  5. Doug and Scott, I just got back to work from my Oregon Vacation and shooting the NWMG Challenge and wanted to say Thanks for a great match. Stages were challenging but not overwhelming, schedule was great as it allowed time to enjoy the Bend area, local eats and Brewery's. Glad to see that Colt and Colt Competition are on board for next year as they are a great sponsor of the sport. Thank you to all the sponsors of the match and to the sport!! Special Thanks to Robert at R&R for doing the Firearms Transfers for "FREE" who the hell does that anymore? Great Job and Roberts products are also top notch. Practiscore runs like a well oiled machine folks if you are not using Practiscore you should be as it rocks. Ken Nelson thanks for running the stats at the match! Doug and Scott and your crew you guys do a outstanding job with this match and I hope there are many more in you for the future. See everybody next year for sure!
  6. Sorry guys I have dropped the ball on this project just cant make the time right now and have matches getting in the way. Want2race thanks for stepping up! Can you please IM of what you sent to billdozer with the details of your set up? Sounds like you have the answer!!! Thanks I really think this will take off with the 3 gun crowd. I never really liked all the high speed dropping of the mag and racking the slide idea as I think this could get you in trouble also. What I meant by trouble is maybe a round didn't come out and you snapped the trigger as habit while dumping the gun in a bucket (bang) not good. The other issue the spring loaded safety will fix is the throwing of the gun in the bucket and bumping the saftey off (time to go home) not good either. I would love to get to the point where I ground my spring loaded safety pistol like a Glock or M&P and not worry when I come back to show clear at the end of a stage!
  7. Any body know who has the best prices on buying a AR-Gold trigger??
  8. Its a major match not a local match or like we have here in Yuma which is a Charity Scholarship match were there is no prize table at stake and the proceeds got to a worthy high school student who has to write a essay to apply for the money. Pro Golf does not get mulligans nor does any other MAJOR type sporting event. Isn't that what this match is a Major sporting event that has 3 Gun Nations points to support it?? Can you tell I have been screwed by mulligans in the past
  9. Go ahead Doug put it at 500 yds Bang Bang I'm gone to the next target!! Nothing quite as satisfying as hearing steel clang when you hit it at distance.. Its all about the feedback of the steel. I love that feedback...paper at that distance=no feedback. Sorry not a big fan but you may prove me wrong again!!
  10. OH ya I forgot to mention about split times. I was struggling with splits with JP getting lots of trigger freeze etc.. and after a couple of sessions with the AR Gold I can run splits like I do with my pistol now. Mark is right more and more courses of fire are close up rifle for 80% of the match where you really need that fast trigger!
  11. Love the handguard! Wheaton Comp? Where do we get one? That looks like a winner. Have fun!
  12. Ya that's what my thinking was until I tried one. I have JP in all my rifles but 1 that one has the AR Gold and I am looking around the shop to figure out what to sell to buy more. The feel, break and reset are the best and I just don't want to go back.
  13. I am going to tackle this project this weekend I hope and will post pics of the process. That is if I get the mill back together...
  14. Anybody ever seen spring loaded safetys on a 2011 or 1911 pistol? I had heard a while back that maybe Bruce Piatt had them on a pistol. Any ideas how it might be done? 3 gun is driving me a bit to get a pistol done so I can just dump and go like a Glock or XD.
  15. Been using the COM for quite a while and it by far the best holster I have used for 3 Gun. I like so much I shoot Pistol matches with it also!
  16. I much rather tip back a few micro brews myself....Just sayin!! Deschutes brewery,10 barrel brewery ,mcmenamins ... just to name a few OH Ya we are there buddy!!! Come on July!
  17. Reading this topic is like reading a good book or watching a great movie. Ya just cant put it down and you stay totally focused on the content!! Anybody want to buy my huge 52" Acro Mill so I can buy a Mini Mill??? Great Thread!!
  18. He still has a bunch I got 2 cases late yesterday!!
  19. I used this idea at the last Yuma 3 Gun match and it work out great. The clays hold tight in the card board and you can shoot all around the cardboard(which alot of people did) and they hold strong. Great idea!!
  20. I guess you mean Mr. E Wolff? I Think he's got farly simple optics too. It's the indian, not the bow Danish champion 11th place in the Nordic Championship, held in Sweden 11th place in the European Championship, held in Bulgaria Indeed, that guy ROCKED the Army Target stage. Funny, the targets seemed to work for him... must have been a total fluke
