Looks like several PD people zero'd stages 10 and I think 14. Those must be the long shot stages. That's got to be a hell of a bad thing at the Nat's.
Is it true that there are some 35-45 yard shots? That seems long for a production gun.
Chris
Id say that the stage 10 poppers are about 30m; and the minis on 11 are about 25m.

"Now yer talkin', Eddie!"

I see the classification system as dynamic; these classes are stages for me to judge my development. -Waypoints, if you will.
Instead of scorning them and their use, one might be better served by using them to set goals.

yeah, but you got a cool dog, and youre
a mouse fart away from a B card, and a sponsorship....
...if you get a boobjob!

I vote for Kytac.

I started with cmcs, the tubes went out of spec often, and i had to constantly tweak them into spec. I then sold them for tripps, but I had some cracking with some tripps right before the Nats, and so I bought more cmcs.
My feelings are that you need to keep an eye on cmcs, but when they are running they are great.
Tripps seem to be the shit when they are new, but I am extrememly hard on my 10rounder during reloads, so Ill eventually gravitate to cmcs completely, provided I stay with the ss in L10.

Not negative. just a fact.... he does not answer phones and email very often. .... best strategy is to send money and pray.
Actually, your "strategy" is an opinion not fact.
-And what are opinions like??????

I searched the archives and came up with a mention that Eric G has been seen chewing gun during a stage.
Wouldn't that get you DQ'd?
doh!
Ah, the things those French eat.

I really believe that the brain capacity required of chewing gum is distracting the "thinking" part of my brain and allowing the "shooting" part to take over.
-
It seems to help my scores if Im chewing gum when Im shooting.
Not sure if its because of a reduction of tension or it makes me think less.
Anyone else do it?

Hey, I just saw this thread.
Very cool. Aenima was the cd I had in my CD player every day of the LimNats on the ride back and forth from Barry, IL to the hotel.
10k days is growing on me also.

I had 4 10rd single stack mags on end in the back of the cart; grabbed them all and shoved them in my front pocket, than as I was running to the right, came out with one and loaded.
Dont try this with s_i mags.

Simple solution: bust your ass to win first in your class. I won C class and I picked 20th overall from the L10 table, right behind Julie Goloski (who certainly didnt get a gun).
I got a nice prize, a great momento from my first Nats.
I wonder how hard you tried to win your class. Regardless of shooting schedule; I was studying stages until sunset and playing commando around the Motel room, practicing reloads and walking on make-believe platforms.
The class you're in is a current assesment of your performance capabilities; not a genetic phenotype.

I thought that all it needed was a wall to keep from seeing the activator at the end of the platform.
Also, I didnt know you could see the paper to the right of the activators through the window of that downrange wall/window. We started on that stage, ick.

looks good; its not a "jake" but its a start.

If you don't care about how your guns look, what do you care about?
"How they shoot" comes to mind...

I know that KyTac has made M&P 40 holsters, give em a call.

thanks guys; Im setting my sights on L10 C-class at the Nats.
check that one off the list!!!

.... We knew the new young GM from Arizona was going to show us his stuff....
I was on Nils's squad; what a nice guy. His family was a pleasure to talk with also. I admire his composure as well.

are they any better than Dokken??

i'm going with 9 mm, extra rounds and lot of A's.
lynn
You mean ONE extra round. You can have 9 in a mag, as opposed to 8 in 45acp.

good to see you, Mark!
FYI, the slide lightening will knock you out of production class and into either Lim-10 or Limited.

2nd sunday of the month
If you were to get to Tulsa on Saturday, you can double up and shoot red castle, another club then. There is a link to it on the above website.
edit: too bad I live near OK City; Im looking for someone to split driving costs to Barry.

Well, here it is, uploaded onto youtube;
since I dont have a server, Ill need to put stuff on free hosts. The quality when I converted it to mpeg is pretty sucky, Ill see if an .avi format is better the next one I put up there. I may try google video, too.
Anyway, This was during the open/production OK section; I was shooting my L10 rig, just to get some trigger time.
I pretty much sucked, but I got some diagnostic info.
Basically two stars, each with a no-shoot, and haybales blocking the bottom 1/5 of the rotation. then three paper and two poppers on each side.
100% open was 12.92; I was at 59% open with 22.40; not that bad considering you can clean it with a big stick in open.
