  1. Yeah, make sure they work in your gun. The 185's in my STI 40 lead so bad I had to stop using them. Tried several different powders with the same results. My previous gun shot them fine(Schuemann barrel). I now use a "poly" bullet that is harder than the Precision and it shoots great in my STI.

Ordered a K of 185's. I have 2 40 cal guns and want to pick up #3. It will most likey be a M&P. Has anyone put them thur a M&P?

Yes, they run fine in them; a bit of leading, but not bad at all.

  2. Check you’re recoil spring for binding. If the spring is to long it will bind and stop the slide (instead of the slide hitting the buff the spring pushes on the center of the buff. That will destroy a buff in short order.

Right; if the recoil spring goes "solid", youll be chewing up more than just buffs.

  3. Heh, I have a friend whose name is only 1 letter different from one of the country's most notorious murderers... (who also happens to be a free man nowadays, thanks to our lame ass prison terms and court system.)

    You know BJ Simpson??

  4. Ive been hitting el prez hard the last two days at the range. probably ran it 30-40 times.

Im averaging 6 sec flat, with about 4-5 down.

My reload is always between 1.6 and 1.8sec.

I guess I need to practice the reload, huh? :(

  5. I think that you still need to "hold" the gun using the thumbs, though. Its that whole neutral grip thing; no part of your hands should be applying any unequal pressure to the gun, at least none thats not canceled out in the overall grip. I think of my hands as a vice, I hold the gun with a certain distance between my palms , visualizing the gun getting squeezed, and then let my upper body and forearms maintain the grip.

    my .02.
