Truly diabolical. I like it.

I have some video from that stage from the OK sectional, Ill get it up in a day or two and let you know.

Ill get to see the limited super squad, but the L10 is shooting when Im shooting.
Im planning on driving there from ok city to quincy, if anyone is looking to carpool, throw me a pm.

I shoot a 11# wolff with one shock buff and a 15# mainspring.
I just had a thread on 9mm springs. you should be able to find it a page back or so.

I know a gm whos a solid .8 to .9 to about 7yds; all A's.

I've got a pretty good idea why this happens, but I won't go into that here.
Hi, thanks for your input.
Id be interested as to what you think is the cause; is it from unpolished rough edges giving rise to a stress crack, or is it my ham fisted mag reloads?
-
thanks guys; Im setting my sights on L10 C-class at the Nats.

I seem to recall an issue some have had with tripp cobramags cracking at the back of the mouth.
All three of mine are cracking on the right side. Two others I bought another time are fine.
I did a search, can anyone fill me in if this a common or rare occurance?
these are the 10 rounders.
thank you.

mine.

Even though its a local club match; I came up with 100% on one stage last weekend, over all divisions. The field of 25 or so had a few masters and more a and b class shooters, a couple open shooters too.
I hope some of them did a double take when they saw that "C" next to my name!

I know that at the local level you are happy to get a paper certificate. At what level does there start to be a purse for winning?
How large do the purses get?
PS Not looking for the money, it is a question I need answered for a business decision.
I just got a purse; its blue, has a shoulder strap, and says "Dillon" on the side of it.

brownells carries sti frame kits, frame/slide kits, and short blocks (w/fitted barrel).

thats interesting; thanks for the info on the 9# being SA stock.

I hit my .09 dawson FO sight with some sight black, when I think the dot is too distracting, works fine.
-
A 11# wolff recoil spring and 15# main give it a nice feel, and no failures.
Did find out that the slide stop is a .45acp one; which explains intermittent failures to lock the slide on an empty mag.
-
Hope this helps.
good as gold; thanks.

any 1911 kit will work; ciener, marvel, kimber, take your pick.
I had a ciener and I was really pleased with its operation.

Probably 12.5 or less, possibly/likely down to single digits on the recoils. Most people run 17 lb mains, and some run a 15 lb.
In my 6" 38 super for ~135 PF I run a 12.5 and 17. I'll probably put a 15 lb main in to reduce overcock pressure.
whats overcock pressure; the effort needed by the slide to knock the hammer back?
-
I have a SA 9mm, and Im a little curious as to what folks are running as far as mainspring and recoil spring weights.
Ill be shooting wwb and blazers mostly; but may load some 125pf poofers for ss div.
I didnt see any spring threads on this subject; I was a little suprised its not been covered before.

I have the vanek drop-in. Anyone with experience care to describe the differences between it, and the now-production outlawed job?
In terms of trigger movement and feel.
I like the drop-in, but Im still upsetting the sight picture when dryfiring.

Im in.

My minor load for my Glock is Federal primers, 3.6 grains Titegroup @ 1.135 OAL. 170 PF
Major load for the Glock is Federal primers, 4.5 grains Titegroup @ 1.135 OAL. 145 PF
I think your PF's are switched around.
