  1. Go to BOD minutes. Scroll down to 5/23 and there is a separate post with new times.
  2. Bear in mind that time reduced is based on 100%. For example, PCCO will reduce from 70.00 to 69.50 or .50 seconds. But the down classifications will be impacted slightly more. Persons that just made A class or .75% will have a new time of 81.764 to make M class. Under the current Peak Time, M class time is 82.353 which is an effective reduction of .589 seconds.....and so on. A GM shooting 110% will see an effective change of minus .455 seconds. But even this can be skewed a bit since the 4 stage requirement to make class was not adjusted. For many matches that are only 5 stages, these changes may be minimized on a broader classification basis.
  3. I did a quick look at PCCO, RFRO, RFPO and CO and each have been reduced. You can find the official sheet at the May 23 BOD director's meeting minutes at SCSA website.
  4. At the May 23rd, 2023 BOD meeting, new adjusted Peak Times were confirmed effective January 2024.
  5. Go to Ivan website. Pull down tab shows Products. Click on on M-LOK Rail. Two options.
  6. considering fire hand grip and eliminating the 15-22: Wiland is not for you. crazy Ivan comp lite chassis with separate M-lok rail will work. Since Karl has passed away (sad, he was a good guy) the son may not have as many color choices yet. I’m PMACA has front rail options. KIDD aluminum chassis will work but will be a little heavy. Good quality. For hand grip requirement stay away from Axiom stock. Lite polymer chassis can flex.
  7. Two of my friends shoot Ivan chassis with extended rail. They like the grip attachment feature also. One is M clas and the other is GM. It’s a light set up. good luck
  8. While we are on the subject of 10/22's: My critical parts are Magnum Research Switchbolt receiver, MR bolt, Volquartsen extractor, Kidd Single Stage Trigger, Briley Raptor barrel, TandemKross Double clear magazines with factory rotar and TK green spring. I run a Sig Romeo 3 XL on 1/2" riser. Each gun runs 100% for me. Chassis, in my opinon is more about what you feel comfortable with. Plenty of options to choose from.
  9. I would be surprised if there isn’t a fellow shooter or two who could give you advice and do the assembly. Assembly is 5 to 10 minute job depending on chassis type. if you’re going for light and shoot SV and HV ammo, check out the Briley Raptor 10/22 barrel. Full length but around 11 oz. I have 5 of them. All run 100%.
  10. Can’t tell you how many times this comes up. What’s worse is someone saying congratulations on me taking first place……..with my RFRO. Maybe Practiscore could review this?
  11. This is exactly what I had in mind. Frankly I wonder why Practiscore uses the Combined feature…..what’s the point? thanks
  12. I’m impressed. Clearly you are extremely knowledgeable on the technology. I do appreciate you taking the time to write detailed responses. A friend of mine is a tech guy and I’m going to ask him to read thru all your responses before I ask any more questions. Thank you
  13. Back to my non-tech thoughts when I started this topic and hopefully I don’t continue to muddy the water. For SCSA only. Regardless of division or classification, the current Practiscore match results under combined is based on time only with 1st place the lowest time and last place the highest time. The percentages shown by each shooter is just straight math off the 1st place 100%. No problem here. For me only, I wanted to track my performance by stage and overall by match. I may place high in a match, depending on who shows up and what divisions are in the mix, but how did I shoot within my classification? My trends over several matches? So I asked if a person could convert matches from the Practiscore program into an Excel spreadsheet? The idea of leagues was subsequently brought up with the winner being who shot the best percentage against their Peak Times. For example, I could shoot mediocre in RFRO and beat a CO shooter that shot much better than me against our relative Peak Times. It was suggested that that there is an app that would calculate this type match results by importing specific match data from or within Practiscore. I don’t know. That’s about where I am now….being clueless of how Practiscore and/or apps work. thanks
  14. I found a Practiscore Competitor App online. One was designed for ipad and one was Google play. I assume that I could download the Google app to my laptop? It appears just looking at it that I can import match results from Practiscore and then work the numbers. Thanks
  15. Is this something a MD would do or can any shooter do this within Practiscore? It sorts the match results based on performance rather than raw total time? I'm going to poke around Practiscore now. I don't have any experience with Practiscore other than looking at results.....which in our local matches is raw times from lowest to highest times. Thanks
  16. If you’re referencing the SCSA RO classes…..I did catch that part at the end of the podcast.
  17. Placement in a match based on performance percentage against each person’s division and classification to me is an equitable comparison. I’m going to use this model for my own stats. Practiscore will usually place me from 1st to 5th with RFRO based on raw time. I’ve always felt this presentation was flawed and doesn’t represent the best performance in the match. Is my performance of being M class but shooting a mid A level better than a CO shooter hitting his/her classification? I personally don’t think so. I’m going to set up a spreadsheet and compare the last few matches just to see what the placement’s really would have been. thanks for info
  18. I listened to the latest NROI episode dated May but the only thing I hear towards the end of the podcast was about SCSA commands, RO certification etc. related to rules and certification programs. Nothing about SCSA advisory committee. Did I listen to the wrong podcast? BTW.........I had thought that the NROI podcasts were more rules focused and less on policy, etc.
  19. 99% of components, barrels, triggers, chassis, are drop in or specialty built to 10/22 specs. Lot of choices. Do you have SCSA matches near you?usually there are a variety of these type guns at local steel matches for you to see. Probably someone there who could build….or really assemble one for you. if you buy a complete gun from Volquartsen or Magnum Research you may not like all the components and wind up spending more money to get the build you like.
  20. 10/22 is the most customizable platform. There are a number of good combinations that will be around 4 lbs. Without the red dot the build cost can easily be $1,200 to $1,500 with aluminum stocks, competition barrels, etc. but before I list some of the build options, if you are looking for a good gun at much less cost to start with, look at the Ruger 15/22. With a good single stage trigger it is a good SCSA gun. Many GM’s use them.
  21. Curious. Who are the SCSA shooters on this advisory committee? Do you know their Areas? I usually read BOD minutes and I don’t recall reading where this committee was established. Do you know if they were set up to receive member comments/questions? thanks
  22. @jrdoran Thanks for the information. Regarding teams. Back to golf. Established handicaps was the basis of matches. Strokes given or received was an attempt to equalize the players/teams (beware of sandbaggers). How that could translate to teams of D, C, B, A, M or GM vs Peak Times would need some thought. I'll get back to you if I have any ideas. But in any case, the use of Excel or some other format to capture the match times and compute the results is necessary to have. If anyone else has any thoughts about this....jump in.
