  1. I'll give that a try. I was trying to get an OAL of 1.125 and just kept jumping above or below by like 0.003.
  2. I spent some time googling it yesterday and see some micrometers dials available for seating dies but didnt see anything offered specifically for a 2in1 die. Any chance these are all sized the same (between manufacturers) and I can just take the micrometer stem out of the seat die to put into the 2in1?
  3. That certainly woulve came in handy this past weekend... I was going crazy trying to get an exact seating depth dialed in.
  4. Yes sir, I am. Was definitely worth the $25. I agree w your point though, if it was like my older 550 press where my 308 load never changes it wouldnt be needed.
  5. Im still waiting for most of the things to arrive but the Powder Adjustment Knob was a godsend over the past weekend already. At least for now where Im trying many different loads until I see what works best in each of my guns; Im making constant changes. Over the weekend I made about a dozen different loads and the knob made it super simple. Just turn 2-3 clicks to go up to the next tenth of a grain and done. I wish I had the Primer Stop Switch. With testing so many different powder measures that wouldve been super useful too.
  6. Works great for me so far. Easy to set up and easy to adjust separately the crimp or the seater. Only thing I would like to see is a micrometer dial available for the seater part of it.
  7. Ok I finally listed everything out. 17 of the items I would consider as upgrades, at least half of these I blame on this thread. First 8 on list has arrived so far. Still waiting on the other 9. 8. Thanks RiggerJJ. I have one on order now and was just wondering if similar to the case and bullet feeders you can put several hundred in at a time
  9. Sorry for the 8 yr old bump. I didnt see any newer threads on the subject. I wanted to ask; how many small primers can you put in the machine at a time? I realize the tube will only hold 100 but wondering if ya can fill the station itself with multiple boxes of primers at once.
  10. Haaaa I beat ya too it by about an hour. I think I have one of everything mentioned in the thread now on order
  11. DAA 2-IN-1 SEATING AND CRIMPING DIE For $22 I figured its worth a try and have ordered over over this past weekend. I did spent a bunch of time researching it and from what ive found, those that have it have not had any problems doing this in one station.
  12. I like the idea of the primer loader. That is definitely getting added to my shopping list As for the bullet feeder, is there a problem with the seat and crimp in a single station? Id rather give up on the feeder and do it by hand; if its at the cost of safety and losing the powder check.
  13. I thought I saw something about a die can be replaced with somthing so that you didnt have to give up a station but I didnt see any further details on what exactly I needed to order to do just that. Id rather not give up the powder check if I can avoid it (specially considering I just ordered it and havent even received it yet let alone used it)
  14. For those using the Mr Bulletfeeder on the 650, do you need to give up a station for this to work? I just ordered the 650 today. Should I wait a bit before adding the bullet feeder or go ahead order now and hooked it all up at once? The bullet feeder wasnt part of the "customize your press" setup or I woulved ordered it with everything.
  15. I have a single station press setup for decapping only. I then clean all my brass in an ultrasonic cleaner. I can clean 1k rounds in 20 minutes as well as a gun or two at the same time (separate bins). I couldnt stand the noise, time length and mess the tumblers made. I then reload in a dillon progressive press regardless if Ive already decapped or not
