  1. Been thinking of changing up my Sig xFive Legion by going to a different slide. Was thinking ether an AXG Pro Slide or maybe the GrayGun Modern Classic 4.7" bull. I was hoping to accomplish two things by changing up the slide: 1) better accuracy 2) slightly faster cycle rate and little more pointable/change of target If I go with the AXG slide thinking I might need to go with a Barstow barrel or something. Anyone experienced both and have a recommendation or thoughts on it.
  2. Cool thanks. Any issues with 10rnd mags? I've heard single stack 10 round mags can be an issue with reliability?
  3. I keep thinking about doing a 40 S&W so I can change back and forth between minor and major.
  4. I've been considering picking up one of the BulArmory guns for my Single Stack.
  5. yep It’s a CO legal “hanger” holster. The kydex at the bottom really does nothing but make it legal in CO
  6. went ahead and took some photos and made a video for you, hope this helps and was what you were looking for. https://imgur.com/a/g8JUbCK
  7. Finished up my mod to have the Ghost Hydra on a QLS fork. Photos and a video in link https://imgur.com/a/iPow6l0
  8. I could put my Align thumb test on and take a photo for you. I found that for my hands trying to use the thumb rest actually made my grip worse so I took it off. … BUT it is in the safe and I could do a photo in the ghost holster if you want
  9. I ordered one for my Sig x5 Legion. The "metal" hanger is kind of flimsy and I didn't like it..... SOOOO it was time to make it "custom". I'm going to finish it up tomorrow but ran a match and some dry fire so far and liked my modifications so I'll make the "final" tomorrow with some cutting and sanding. I have a Boss Hanger that is firm and I like that I already had a QLS system setup on. SO I mounted the Flimsy Ghost bracket onto a QLS form and did some test by moving the Ghost holster's bracket up one I could mount two screws through the top of the QLS fork ( removed in photo). This allows for 4 bolts through the bracket into the QLS form. It is firm and solid. Tomorrow I plan on cutting the extra Ghost bracket material off and getting it all set with Locktite. Then I'll be able to do my swaps between all the holsters I use on that belt without issue.
  10. After some reviews and looking on his site I ordered myself a holster. I wasn't in a hurry as I did have a holster (though not one I liked) for my Shadow 2. Since I've owned small businesses I really enjoy supporting them when I can and also understand the headaches involved in owning and running them. BUT also you do have to meet certain expectations and your own promises. Here is my story so far. I ordered July 8th, when ordered think the website had 10 or 12 weeks listed as the delivery time. I texted him on Oct 4rd which was in week 13. I got an answer back on Oct 7th saying my order would ship out the following week, week 14 so that's cool. A week later on Oct 10th I texted him again checking since I had no gotten shipping notification, no answer. I texted again on Oct 18th, no answer. I texted again on Oct 24th Got an answer on Oct 25th with an apology saying he was at Production Nations and sorry for the additional delays from not shipping it 2 weeks prior like he said and that he would have it shipped within "a few days" As of yet still no holster (Nov 4th) and I don't know if I should bother texted again or just wait till it shows up... I hope! at 17 week at the moment and while not as long as some here. I have high hopes for this holster and if I like it would love one for my Sig x5 Legion but process getting one isn't the smoothest. My issue isn't the time if it takes, if it takes 20 weeks, it takes that time state that, HECK state 24 weeks then when it shows up early customer is happy. My issue is having a timeline on your site and missing it, then when contacted making a commitment then missing that, ... and doing it again. At least in the two small businesses I've run your word is important and failing on it hurts your business. Great products can only get you so far, if you get failing to live up to your word that's when you loose customers.
  11. This was a brand new gun I bought at a gunshop and then took and shot. No light was ever installed.
  12. I have an SBR I form 1'ed and was toying around with getting a CMMG upper & their mag conversions. Has anyone run a similar setup? I don't plan on going to PCC nationals or winning division just want it as an option and could be a good training aim since 9mm is cheaper than 223/556 https://cmmg.com/upper-group-banshee-9mm-8 https://cmmg.com/adapter-magazine-9-ar-conversion-10-30rd-2-pack
  13. I own an Atlas Athena and Staccato P Duo so likely one of those, I use my Atlas when I shoot IDPA CO and it seems like cheating vs the other guys. I've shot friends Phoenix and Infinity and they shoot well too. one of the guys I shoot with has a pair of Atlas and a pair of Infinities and he hates the Infinities. He says he has had issues with them running and had to send them back a couple of times. He shoots the Atlases because they "just run"
  14. I bought it as a just in case, but frankly never use them.
  15. From the guys I spoke with on the phone they thing it might have been a casting issue when it was made. I couldn't find any indicators of it being dropped.
  16. I've run a Delta Point Pro on my Staccato P 4.4" with the back up irons for years and its a great setup.
  17. a few of my friends run Sig x5 Legions or the Max version. I was wanting to give Sig a try as I haven't ever owned one. So picked one of from a LGS and then proceeded to run 150 rounds of my normal 147gr competition minor power factor rounds through it. When I got home I went to clean it and mount a Romeo1Pro on it and saw this nice nice crack in the grip module. So I ended up calling Sig customer service and they are going to be sending me a new module and want this one back as the guy I spoke with and his supervisor nether had seen this happen before.
  18. Woot!!! This did indeed fixed it… turns out I missed Loctiting that screw the other one was but this guy was free spinning. thanks a ton!
  19. Thanks Ill give this a try here after I make dinner
  20. Found more while playing with it… don’t know what to do to fix it but it’s the problem https://imgur.com/a/Dh97ekr https://imgur.com/a/NLjf5BQ PS oh and yes the little Y spring thing that attaches to the same place as the mag release is there and seems to be working and keeping upward pressure
  21. Found why… but not sure what to do to fix. https://imgur.com/a/ISnq1yV

  23. So I have a SP-01 Manual safety, that has the full trigger kit from CGW. https://cajungunworks.com/product/75115-production-legal-pro-package-kit-for-manuel-safety/ its been fine for 200-300 rounds since I did the kit install. Yesterday while at the range for some reason Double Action stopped working. When you pull the trigger with hammer down nothing happens, if hammer is back trigger drops just like normal. Fairly new to CZs as this is my only one. What should I check first?
  24. Glad I found this topic as I was thinking similar things as I’ve shoot only IDPA for the past 5 years 40cal wasn’t really a thing and wasn’t a close USPSA match. Now that I’ve moved there is 3 USPSA clubs within less than an hour. Limited really calls to me for some reason and I love my 1911/2011s but they are all 9mm … so been debating do I try and convert one to open? Buy a 40cal? Shoot A fudgecicle nobody but a few crayon chewers and winder likkers want? Do CZs2 in CO? For my first match a few weeks ago just to get experience with the sport too my Staccato P Duo and shot in open (yes not the best idea) came in 8th of 13 open shooters. Few of the top guys were running comp’ed 2011s and one guy had a cool custom CZ with comp and slide mount optic.
