  1. Shot a tier 2 match today, at the shooters meeting we was informed that at last years sanction match everybody complained that the fault lines was painted with gloss paint and they was slick and angles was way to tight. So his way of fixing it was lighten up angles BUT he used 2x4’s for fault lines and told us that we was not aloud to place our foot on it AT ALL, foot couldn’t be rolled up on it, cannot stand on it. The only way you could stand near a fault line was if your foot was right up against it. Now my question, with it being a tier 2 sanctioned match can they legally due that per IDPA? Now I did read rule 6.3 about fault lines, but I’m still curious if this is possible? This is first time I’ve ever ran into this.

    Glock +6 pads

mojo we’ve all been there, I’ve seen single stack, open guys do it i like watching PCC mags when everything comes loose and springs and extensions go flying everywhere

    Glock +6 pads

Yeah I’ve gotta figure something out cause in them 24 round fast stages every second definitely matters. what makes me most mad is I had a brain fart and did a reload and popped one off real quick for a A,C the reload put me at a 8.76 HF when if I would’ve left it with a alpha, Mike I would’ve had a 10.17 HF (face palm)

    Glock +6 pads

I’ve tried forcing 23 but it won’t happen stops at 22 after I realized I didn’t have 23 in it after that stage

    Glock +6 pads

So this past weekend at uspsa I had a 24 round count stage shooting 9mm with a +6 pad I “thought” you know 17+6=23...so I topped off and then put big mag thinking I had 24 rounds, welllll I was wrong went to slide lock after 23 shots.. im running TTI +6 basepad on factory Glock mag.. why in the world is this mag only holding 22 instead of 23?
  6. If they ever give a reward for post with the most thought put into it, that would be it.
  7. you’d honestly just have to meet the guy.. no matter how you approached the situation it was a losing battle, just wasn’t needed or worth it at 730 in the morning. I believe it karma. It’ll get em
  8. So what’s my excuse if I work 60 hours Monday through Friday before a major match? There is is no excuse for shooting skills you shoot as good as your practice.
  9. Mmmmmm...no I’d rather not. Like rowdy said no one forced him to work it. And actually I can vouche that he wasn’t there all week to help he showed up Friday to staff shoot and worked Saturday. So no. No excuse for his stupidity.
  10. This dude definitely didn’t end up in top 10... 113th out of 175
  11. I mean I definitely didn’t just let it fly I argued with him that there was no such thing and that we dry fired before last year state match and even pointed out where. Threw in a little smart laugh and said okay bud whatever you say and went on with my day. As far as rules go I know pretty much everything else for when I step up to the line. But that one just threw me for a twist of a bunch of WTF moments
  12. It was just hard for me to pick a fight at 730AM and completely throw me off track for the day. I left it alone to deal with later. I was just happy to win ESP/SS at the end of the day, but I know now to be a little less lenient with SO/RO
  13. Not only that but some of the guys he ran out of the safe area have been shooting major matches for a very long time and they didn’t tell him to “stfu”
  14. I knew it was bull because not once have I ever heard of that. Only reason I didn’t really go off cause 1.) I didn’t wanna get worked up and pissed of 2.) i wasn’t tryin to cause a scene cause with that guy that’s where it would’ve went. trust me when I say I’m gonna make sure he’s fully aware that he was in the wrong at the next local
  15. I didn’t wanna smart off terribly with him cause I knew he was RO on a stage that had a lot of fault lines and I wasn’t bout to get PE out the arse
  16. That’s what I figured, every time someone went over to the safe area he’d go over there and tap the them on the shoulder and stop them. Seems like he let the power go to his head. Luckily he’s a local and I’ll see him in a couple weeks to argue his nonsense. Really threw me off my morning match routine and kinda sent me for a whirl on the first stage.
  17. So this past weekend I shot the tier 3 Virginia state match. When I got there I geared up, got my equipment checked ate my banana and drank my Red Bull. went to the safe area gonna draw a couple times double check that everything felt fine. Here’s the part that really stumped me: i had a staff worker come over to me and tell me to holster my gun that dry fire was not aloud in the safe area that it’s only to work on your equipment. Me being mind blown I gave a smartass “ok bud” he said that it’s in the rule book that your not aloud to dry fire in the safe area. has anybody else heard of this? I couldn’t find it in rule book good possibility I overlooked it but I find it hard to believe
  18. They told me they don't recommend any springs but the ismi should work, well it didn’t after I ordered two of them. just recently ordered Wolff springs the .270 diameter ones and they work perfect no issues. http://jagerproducts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=38&products_id=101 wasn’t impressed with Jagers shipping times though..
  19. I’ve been runnin a gen 5 34 for almost a year now and It’s hard for me to shoot anything else, I tried a gen 5 17 and I couldn’t tell much difference. Only difference I noticed I was coming out of holster faster only cause it’s shorter than 34. I’m venturing over to carry optics and I shoot my 34 just as fast as my dad does and he’s borderline A class with a gen 3 17. All depends if you like a long slide gun or not.
  20. My TTI extended hit in my Dawson in my 34 gen 5 I just took a round file and knocked the magwell insert a couple time where it was hitting and haven’t had an issue since
  21. I’ve got something in the works close to a 24. If all goes well I’ll post pics tomorrow
  22. I’ve found my KKM in my gen 5 to be more accurate. Also it allows you to load just a little longer. It’s all a confidence thing man. As far as the frame weight, I’m 160lbs at 5’7 I need all the help I can get with recoil lol
  23. Out of curiosity why do you say not to mess wiith aftermarket barrels or framewieghts? I run a Kkm and a frame weight on my 34 and love it
  24. I’m really leaning towards a 35 cause I’m already use to that long slide but I’m just curious what everybody take is
