Out of curiosity what’s weather like in January?

What squad you in? I’m using WSF but might be using clean shot by then

I shoot WSF when I can find it but getting ready to switch to clean shot. im thinking bout bumping up to 175PF to be safe. Not trying to drive 12 hours just to get put in minor

I’m gonna be attending the Florida state at frostproof in January, and I’m curious if I should be concerned bout PF I shoot limited major. I live in upper east TN it’s currently in the 40-50’s here right now. I’m chrono at 170-172 PF will that change in Florida since it’ll be warmer?

Alright so I’m good to go then, I had practiced some yesterday and at the end of practice I had a mag that kept puttin the gun to slide lock with 1 bullet left in magazine, ended up just shaving off the slide lock shelf on the followers since I don’t go to slide lock normally as a fix.

I’m kinda new to the 2011 world so I’m on a learning curve with magazines, right now I have 3 STI gen 1 140mm mags with SNL pads, grams followers and springs. heres my question: the springs are 11 coil, everything I’m reading on shooters connection and grams website if your using a 140mm with extended basepads to use 13 coil? is possible there is a reason he was using 11 coil? also the followers are labeled s2,s2,STSV is there a difference?

This might be stupid question but I plan on shooting a couple area matches next year and noticed the area 6 is only a Thursday-Friday format? Any reason why they don’t do a Saturday?

Well finally figured out why it hates federals, after rechecking everything and messing around some I noticed after X amount of cases the 1st stage die comes loose just enough to not fully push out the primer and it definitely doesn’t take much

That’s one thing I have noticed about it while dry firing it practically points it’s self. why do you say the fast 6 for close quarters?

Recently picked up a STI 6in Eagle with a bull barrel, this is my first 2011. I’ve done some searching on the forums for info on them and can’t seem to find much, are these a rare gun to find now days? Any info on them that’s interesting? I did find where dawson did a fast-six build at one point that looks pretty awesome. any info is appreciated

I recently purchased a square deal B in 40 cal and last night during reloading I noticed I was havin issues knockin primers out here and there, after bout the 5 one I noticed the ones I was having issues with was federals, I could send it through 2-3 times and it would finally push it out. But with them being federals why am I struggling to get the primer out? Found it kinda odd

I’ve been curious bout this myself going into the 2011 world, how often should your mags be tuned a lot with general maintenance?
