And you can still buy new 10mm guns, doesn't mean it isn't a defunct market in day to day terms.
How many boxes of 38 Super(let alone comp) do you think a retailer like sportsmans sells in one day of operation, compared to 10mm? How about 10mm compared to 40? Compared to 9mm?
Coffin, meet nail.doesn't 't look like sportsmans sells 38 super at all

Those aren’t competition guns. I think 38 Super is a great cartridge and would love to have one for carry or fun.
I meant at the comment that said 38 super will be dead in 10 years

just saw Les Baer on shooting USA - he said 38 super is one of his favorite calibers all time and they are gaining in popularity over the last few years.
-
what advantage does 38 super have vs 9mm? if they use the same bullet - same velocity - same power factor? just the 9mm uses less powder therefore would have less recoil
-
maybe its the bullets Lol jk

and Hillary Clinton won the popular vote

The everyman’s round? Lol
"The most common cartridge in the world is the 9x19 Parabellum round, also known as 9mm, 9mm Luger,"

No, it did not. Think of all the 9mm brass that is used in all guns, outside of competition
The 9mm brass market dwarfs 38sc now and at any time in the history of brass.
9mm is for everyone - 38 super comp is not

I had several 9mm guns with Sliderides, and none of them had ejection issues.
was it with a horizontal mount

Yes. It is called Market Size.
the market size just changed this year according to this thread
-
there must be a reason it cost more
-
my theory is the mini dots are more common now so the 9mm major ejection issues with the slide ride isn't a problem anymore
-
looks like they are out of stock
-
There is not many options and no 115 gr. also, Everglades is new brass - Black Dot is remanufactured

I don't have a lot of experience with CF handguards.
I only have the Taccom, and I gotta say, I'm very impressed with it, so much so that I have it on my PCC and my .22 steel challenge rifle.
It feels as solid as any aluminum handguard.
I think carbon fiber is stronger than aluminum.

38 super great round brass expensive for super comp. really the reliable way to go but even at that a lot of us had issues getting everything tuned to run.
Yes can be shoot 9 out of them, they run better with 9mm extractor , and x power spring, I have had 0 issues firing from a k38 mag or even the stock eaa 170s it’s all up to you on whether you plan to to go down the rabbit hole or not lol
Did you leave your 9mm extractor stock or tune it as Henning suggest

ets has 40 round magazines

Depending upon how you set up your extractor and ejector, .38 Super and Super Comp will run the same, at least they do in my gun. Unloading mags is a bit harder with Super than SC, but that's the only discernable difference I've run across.
do you use aftec extractor

When do you expect the wilson/nowlin ramps? Thanks

I see it mentioned here so I ask
by reducing the radius on the firing pin stop to delay the first few microseconds of recoil - how does it affect the dot and flatness compared to recoil
-
sti kkm svi barsto kart nowlin arms

Price?

Hello: On an open pistol I like an angled firing pin stop. I actually cut the firing pin stop so it contacts the hammer higher up giving more leverage so the slide can cycle easier. I have tried the squared off firing pin stop and for me it just seems to give me more muzzle rise under recoil. Thanks, Eric
if the slide cycles better with more radius of the firing pin stop - i thought less radius gives less recoil - you are saying the no radius gave you more recoil?

These big sticks are frustrating, I will try and file less off the left corner, but still hit or miss to get to 30... In our area ( western Washington) it seems that 30 to 32 are some of there favorite round counts in a stage. So the guys that can load to 30 + 1 have huge advantage on the 30 round stage. Any other manufacturer that offers what Taran Tactical is offering? Their springs are definitely wider at bottom and narrower toward top.
This seems like it would open up space ??? The follower is next. Taran ultra thin worked great in 40 mags, but not having the same luck with the big sticks.
