  1. Anyone have experience fitting a Patriot Defense | BOLO Interrupter/Pin into CZ 75B SAO with a removed firing pin block

    BOLO.jpeg.7b3c91571d64c054f9fe28cc93aad5d1.jpeg

    What will the function of the angle two 'wing' have in SAO?

    Does angle one just need to be fitted over the trigger bar?

    Is this different than fitting a T3 Disconnector?

    Is the thickness of the BOLO Disconnector similar to a CZ or will it be a problem? (besides fitting inside the hammer)

    Thank You

    I might just order and do my own review.

    Looking forward to your take on the MBX system.

    I got the MBX Tuning/Rebuild Kit when I ordered the MBX Recoil Reduction System. The internal spring the buffer system comes with installed is the heaviest spring set up for major PF. At least I think it is for major PF as it just says "high power ammunition" - There are two other springs for "medium power ammunition" and "low power ammunition"

    One last thing: CZ USA does not carry Czechmate guide rods, which are needed for this conversion so I've commissioned the same machinist who made the comps to make a batch of guide rods out of aluminum, I'm excited to see how much weight they save over the steel.

    I noticed this as well. The only option I have found so far is the DPM System for Czechmate. Would be interested to see your guide rod version when it is finished.

    I understand that the reason why shooters remove the bolt weight of their AR-9's is to reduce the weight of the reciprocating mass, therefore, reducing the felt recoil.  However, by doing so, are you not also putting more stress on the firearm and hence increasing the risk of damaging it (or, at the very least, breaking parts more often)?

    force =  acceleration x MASS

  5. I used the STI gen2 follower in a MBX spring and tube to utilize the slide lock feature - I just had to bend the MBX spring at the top to fit the follower.

    STI Gen1 and Gen2 followers are different but I am not sure where - it might just be how the spring sits with the follower and can bend it to the correct shape. Dawson Precision had both gen followers on their site a few months ago but I dont see gen2 now - maybe you can contact them

    I see no difference in muzzle rise between the two. Actually the second one appears to rise higher than the first comp. Am I missing something?

    I bought one as an alternative to the oem comp since I dont own a czechmate and they are sold out online for the same price.

    Also - to be fair - in the video, it doesnt say what ammo is used- he could be using a load that was worked for the oem comp and the second comp needs different load

    I haven't used mine yet but hope to finish the build this coming year
