  1. Thanks yall! So I would put Jeff Cooper up there but the main theme is dominance. I know he created the sport but man... Rob Leatham dominated the single stack for about a decade, same way Jerry Miculek was untouchable in the revolver side. Speaking of Jerry, he is easily top 4 not only for pistol reasons but for his 3 gun resume and world speed records. So far, there is my two. My 3rd is Eric Grauffel with 8 world shoot titles. Being dominant at the biggest stage available in shooting easily puts you at top 4. However, JJ, Max, Kc, Tilley, and more are not done yet so we shall see if they can catch up Erics gold count. The fourth may raise some brows but why not?! Daniel Horner. With 10 national chamionships, the man is a robot.
  2. Hey everyone, I have a college assignment that requires some public opinions. I need to make a video, a really good video on a sport and it's most dominant athletes. I obviously chose practical shooting. I was doing researches on this topic in the forums and there was quite a few. They were mainly discussing previous national and world shoot winners. However, I would like to know who the public thinks deserve their spot on a mt. Rushmore of shooting if they ever built one. Also, who do you put in your top 3 for each division? And why? I would like to share the video with yall once its finished! Thank yall
  3. I know this is an old post but I made a review of my cz 712 3 gun build. More like an overview. It started off as the utility model, i slowly introduced parts to cater it for 3 gun. Might I say, for the cost, it is awesome! Ive only owned a benelli nova in the past. I know they are two different shotguns, but the nova made me appreciate how light the cz was!
  4. Thanks for those tips. I got a lot of work to do!
  5. That forum was where i got the interest from. Originally had a benelli nova that i owned for a few weeks then it stayed in the safe. The cz was definitely a lot lighter. Now how do i take this down so i could post it in that thread? Sorry, new guy over here
  6. Thank you! Stage planning was one of my biggest weaknesses, especially if i went first. What percentage would yall say stage planning covers out of the entire thing? I say 40
  7. Its a good mix from the dryfire routine for sure!
  8. Its permanent to a certain extent. I would definitely try it on something else first to get familiar with the process.
  9. Here is the traingle drill with an open, stock, and the mbx pcc. I placed steel, paper, and popper target for a more transition focused drill
  10. I first messed with talon grips. One of the best add ons I have ever done. Then a few years later, I stippled my pistol just to see whats the big deal. It took too long, and it did not have the texture that I really liked from the granulate talon grips. I saw the silicon carbide and wanted to try it out. Bought the 2lb pack from amazon and man....3 guns later... I love how it feels, and how it looks. I also have more sc to do other things.
  11. Thanks for watching! Its quite simple, just a tad bit time consuming....but it only took me 30 minutes compared to stippling. Glad you enjoyed it!
  12. Honestly, I was using factory load 115 grain of blazer brass. One of the cool things about the pcc is when you buy it from the main website, it asks you what kind of load you will be shooting. I pretty much said factory 115 grain. They do this to cater the buffer system accordingly so it is ready out of the box... In my case, it was. However, you can easily swap out springs if you wish to do so. As far as jhp's, i do not have the answer to that. I can run a few and let you know!
  13. Hey everyone, I made a dedicated SC application vid. So a lot of the videos online are not so clear. I tried to make it as visual as possible. I also included which supplies I used and where I got them from! All in all, it came out to 26 dollars...and ive done it to 3 pistols so far (after handling my buddies, I became a believer). There is a ton of leftover left from the 2lb pack that will enable you to do more if you wish. If you have a youtube, please like, subscribe, and share it. Im making videos more catered to uspsa shooting. More specifically, videos that I wish I came across when learning techniques, gun mods, and other things that wouldve saved me monies and time! Theres a bunch of tutorials out there, so Im going with what has not been made yet. Thank you

  15. I got tired of dryfiring my draws, reloads, etc. And i was itching to go shoot a match but schedule did not permit it with daddy duties taking priority. So instead, i took some leftover scrap and made a stage at home! Its not the real thing but its definitely showing my weaknesses. I also have my wife and kid create the stage and rearrange the targets for me so I can practice mental preps.
  16. They are 10 yards apart. The furthest cones will be apx 20 yards away because the nearest cones would have to be far enough for the steel. Paper wont matter. Feel free to put a barrel on the starting cone to maneuver around an actual object! If you can, please record it! I would love to see the triangle incorporated by others!!! Also, if you can, placing shooter boxes will benefit more than cones. I like to run a bunch or agility drills for shooting and thats why i use these.
