  2. I run a 1911 9mm, I generally run Enos grease. You can run several matches and not worry about it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. Last I bought some it about 150 for 6000 cleaned brass. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. I generally shot a lot of freedom munitions, which uses xtremes . And accuracy Wise seem fine. COAL never measured. I bought a whole bunch of 147 and 165 from Xtreme, to be ready to start reloading. I hope I don't have the same issues. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. Those dang little details. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  6. I looked at a TS Orange, until I found they were nonexistent. STI seem to dominate at least in my area, probably for good reason. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  7. Oh I am sure I would , but the level of competition here. I am working my way up. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  8. Since I have short thumbs I am looking at using a Dawson extended mag release with STI's paddle, to see if that helps. I looked in the rules, didn't really see anything. Is this OK? How much is OK, .190" or .265", they also have a option for moving the mag up or down .010" didn't see any against that. Thoughts???
  9. stage started empty gun, but I always start my first mag with 11 rounds. production is 10 round limit. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  10. took it to the range today. Oh my it is a sweet shooting pistol. It will be a fun pistol in competition. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  11. Well I was just about to pull the trigger on the PM9, but LGS had a used STI Duty One with 5 Wilson mags and Dawson magwell . Ended up saving about 600 going that route. taking it to the range today. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  12. yeah, I was a little worried as we waited for the RM to show up, that it might be a DQ. I was so far from trophy anyways it didn't really matter. But the bright side was I got to burn up the next stage since I could fully load my mags. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  13. I did see that, i wondered how well it worked Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  14. OK, misunderstood. Good to know about the PM9. Now with the Dawson mags, are you using the aluminum competition base?? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  15. 45 ouch, STI has it listed at 42. Dawson has it listed at 42 too after they add stuff. that one might not work. The PM9 is listed at 41.5 Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  16. Front cocking serrations , and front strap checkering Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  17. That is part of the problem , no one in my area really carry any of them. As far MIM part go, the RO is only one out of the 4 that have any, and no they really don't concern me since SA MIM seem to do just fine. Right now the DW PM-9 is at the top of the list, but all are fairly close with the RO in last, mainly just because of the lack of FCS and FSC It all started out really wanting the SA 9mm Combat Operator, figured it would go nicely with my SA TRP Operator. But then started to look around . I think it might come down to picking two and flipping a coin.
  18. Been doing a lot of reading on here lately. Trying to find a new 1911 to run USPSA SS. The ones I have narrowed down too are. All are 9mm 1)SA Combat Operator. right at 43oz, no FCS. 2)DW PM-9 3)SA RO in SS. No FCS, no FSC 4)STI Trojan overall quality of fit seems to be all over the place from what I read. they all seem to have pros and cons. The DW seem to get the most positive reviews. Just wondering out of those what would you choose? I want something the will out shoot me for a long time. the other idea was go straight to the STI DVC Classic, decided not to, not good enough to earn that right Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  19. Got bumped from production to open. Second to last stage, it was a start unloaded stage. Opps, never dawned on me, I always have my first mag loaded to 11. RO asked how many I started with, went bad from there. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
