    P320 X5 Thread

I have the springer extended mag release on all of mine. I love it. I have short thumbs and had a hard time reaching the mag stock mag release on a MD grip with out changing my grip. After I put the springer extended mag release its in the perfect spot for me now. As for the RHT vs Comp tac. It's not even a fair comparison. The RHT offers 2 layer holsters which are super stiff and strong. His molds are spot on and has some pretty awesome color options. Mag pouches from RHT are great. The comp tac I had a few years ago was super flimsy and I felt it was going to rip right off the hanger while working on draws.

    P320 X5 Thread

I have 2 320F FCU's with the GG competition package. One has the GG flat trigger and pulls at 2lbs 7oz and the other with GG curved is right over 3lbs. The take up is great, it's starts smooth, hits a wall, then a sudden break at 90* with the flat trigger. The curved starts the same and mine seems to roll off the back wall, which I like on the curved trigger. Grayguns appears to have gotten their turn around time to 2 weeks! Get in the Queue now and it won't be long. It's definitely worth getting the GG trigger job and avoid the headaches of attempting to get sub 3# and risk ruining or losing safety features that are kept with the GG package. Hope this helps.

    P320 X5 Thread

As I've been managing a LGS for the last 3 years I'd take the "shipping now" to distributors at this time. Once the distributor gets them in hand then they'll be available to dealers.
  5. I settled on 3.6grains at 1.100" using TG and black bullets 125gr. PF is around 131 and the accuracy and recoil is amazing.

    P320 X5 Thread

Just noticed that 17 round mags have become available in most LGS and websites, got 10 this last week.
  7. Over wet tumbling will cause burrs to form. I tend to wet tumble my 9mm for only 1-1.5 hours instead of 3. Fixed the issues.

    P320 X5 Thread

Glad to see that, for some reason I thought the x5 frame was full length. I must've been thinking of the carry model. Thanks for the correct info.

Only isssue is the X5 is 5" and the FS is 4.7" so you'll either have to chop the X5 frame on a FS slide or figure a way to add 3/10ths to a FS grip.

    P320 sights

LPA part #SPR28SS07 look promising as they are low profile.

    P320 sights

What type of rear sight blade are you looking for? Blacked out or 3 dot? Meprolight makes an adjustable for the 226 that looks nice. Seen them at opticsplanet.
  12. Technically it's referred to as a "grip frame" in IDPA rules and to me frame means serialized. As the 320 has a readily available "grip module" it seems to skirt the rules. But I don't shoot IDPA so who am I to answer.
  13. Gonna be an awesome match can't wait to shoot it! Thank you for all the hard work putting it together.
  14. Got my trigger and it's awesome. Took about 5 minutes to install and it works great. The pull feels about 2.5-3 pounds lighter than my stock compact. Gotta say the actually trigger bow feels nice and has a good size flat face with a great radius. Thank you, GrayGuns and Jeff Whitaker!
  15. So I tried this load in my 4.7" sig p320. 147gr berrys RN with 3.2 grains of TG loaded to 1.100". The gun did not like them at all. Very inconsistent groupings and recoil was "slow" seemed the slide wasn't cycling fast enough. Ended up going with 3.8gr of TG with a berrys 124gr target hollow point loaded to 1.130". Best groups and function of the loads I've made. Averaged 127PF in 40* temps and felt really good on double taps.
  16. For sure shot similar load last summer and they were definitely faster. I did 2 groups of 10 with some of these that I let sit on the dashboard with the defroster on to get them "warm". Had an average of 30 fps faster.
  17. Loaded up some Berry's 124gr Target Hollow Point with 3.8gr on TiteGroup with OAL of 1.130" for one batch and 1.150". The 1.130-1.135" had an average PF of 129 The 1.150" had an average PF of 128. The shorter actually felt better both cycled just fine.
  18. Sorry for the delay. I haven't chronographed them yet but striving for 125PF. They should be around 134PF if my math is right. Figuring with temperature and SD they should be good for all match locations and chronos.
  19. I'm trying 3.8gr with a 124gr target hollow point, OAL 1.145" gonna chrono next week when weather breaks
  20. I've had my FS for a year with GGI competition package and absolutely no issues since the day I got it back. My trigger pulls around 4 pounds on the scale. However it's so smooth that it feels lik 2.5 pounds. I plan on buying the X5 and having the same thing done to it and making my FS a backup. Different strokes for different folks.
  21. SC MAP is $850 so if you're FFL isn't gauging I'd say $899.99 would be fair and some will have it cheaper I'm sure.
  22. Imagine a tungsten grip weight for 3gun or limited. That would be awesome
  23. Production and carry optic legal by end of February.
