  1. Same here, 3 gun is fun but i found out that I shoot more and it is quicker at uspsa. No offense and maybe it is local for me, but all the competition is at uspsa. Regardless, keep shooting and have fun.
  2. Just sunglasses and sun tan lotion, no shade.
  3. Maybe I will have to check out mount and parking space before deciding on pedal. I do like a left hand out as far as possible grip to control recoil, but I have never shot an open gun, how is recoil and tracking?
  4. I haven't thought about that, is there a good amount of space to park thumb on c more mount?
  5. Nike cross country, aggressive but not spiked for hard surfaces.
  6. Double alpa race master all the way.
  7. I am thinking about using thumb pedal on open gun, do you like it or hate it?
  8. Sounds easy enough, try growing up shooting right eye then switching to left eye, the move the gun over 3 inches doesn't work for me. Right hand right eye shooter doesn't understand me, I do appreciate the thought of helping me out. Thanks for posting I appreciate all posts and advice.
  9. A lot of good info here, I try to shake the jitters by shaking my arms out before starting beep, and deep breaths.
  10. Good info definitely will have to check out that DVD.
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome, all this info is overwhelming. Good s**t.
  12. I appreciate everyone's input. Thanks Brett
  13. P.E Kelley you have less of a head turn than me, but i will keep at it, damn I wish I could shoot like you, nice shooting.
  14. That is the info i am looking for... Hi power jack, I appreciate it and I will take a serious look at the SDB.
  15. I have been shooting minor for 2 years and I think it just makes me practice harder to go fast and still try to get all A hits. In reading most info out on the internet I shouldn't stand a chance in limited minor vs major, so when I do good at matches it is all the more reason to go against the grain. Plus what is really on the line, not like I am making money or getting sponsored, so have fun and shoot.
  16. I imagine it would be very similar, best bet would try to see both at store. I have SBE gen 2 and the new benelli's seem to be a bit wider. Also probably wouldn't hurt letting a smith modify it, my shells get scratched up from speed loading, more meant for hunting.
  17. I will try that and next time do a grammar check too.
  18. Doing some homework right now, eventually I am going to start reloading 9 major. What are good choices/brands out there for chronograph.
  19. With an open stance I can draw to my left eye and still get 2 sight pictures, but if I turn my head slightly then I get 1 picture. Not a big issue but I feel if I was completely open with head straight on my might gain a little more speed in target transition. Thanks for all of your input. Brett
  20. I plan on doing just 9 major rounds, about 1000 to 1500 a month, high end. I do have someone that can help but he is not familiar with a Dillon, but has been reloading for years. Planning on moving into an open gun, seems like the only way to go instead of buying 9 major from ammo supplier which I have only found 1 and it was almost 400 dollars for 1k.
  21. What is better for open gun 9 major or 38 super? Heard 9 major is 1/3 of cost?
  22. Tape still blurs vision, I get head straight when shooting but why would I want tape to blur vision when I am moving in stage?
