Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I've been shooting an sp01 is USPSA production for a little over a year now and have not had a problem manually dropping the hammer. I do reposition my strong hand and use both hands to complete the task but its a piece of cake. Just do some dry practice and you'll be fine.
  2. I shoot an sp-01 with a safety instead of a decocker and have just been dropping the hammer manually. I practiced a lot without any ammo and then a bunch at the range too before the match. It's not so bad, just practice and be careful.
  3. Hello, Firstly, thanks to all the nice people who share their experience on here. I've been reading a lot over the last few weeks and it definitely helped me out a lot on the reloading front. I've been shooting paper a few times a year since about 2007 and then I heard about a local USPSA match (Cactus Match out at Ben Avery) from a guy at the local Sportsmans Warehouse, shot my first two matches over the last month and did my first reloading last week. Right now I'm shooting an SP-01 in production and reloading 9mm on a lee classic turret press. I might be hooked, shooting the matches is a hell of a good time and I've met some really cool people already. The original plan was to shoot 3gun but I need a whole lot more pistol practice and a second job before I start in that world... Aside from shooting I also brew beer and make mead, do some fishing when it's not so dam hot out, work 50-60 hours a week at a lease to own furniture store, hang out with my gf a lot, read a lot and watch to much Netfix/Hulu.
