  1. When I received mine I had the same situation with the short screws . I used the small C clamp method and put just enough pressure to get the screws started a few threads then it was good to go . My only complaint is one of the side to side adjustment slots had a huge burr in it so had to get the dremel out .
  2. Tool kit , cleaning kit , backup gun , plenty of magazines for both , ammo , spare ear and eye pro if someone forgot theirs , aspirin , squib knocker , lense wipes , dude wipes ( lol ) , small collapsible umbrella and a small first aid kit . I'm forgetting stuff I'm sure but too lazy to dig through my bag at the moment lol .
  3. I just ordered one of these after watching the videos . A guy I shoot with has the DAA medium rangepack and has already had to replace it once from not really holding up to much abuse or weight . I'm hoping I made the right choice by purchasing this one .
  4. Anyone using this holster for CZ or Tanfo ? I've been looking at one but I've heard pro's and con's and if you long time guys could elaborate one of the guys I shoot with told me there used to be a long thread here I believe about it and fitting the distance from belt rules . Any ideas ?
  5. The scale grips are awesome !! I ordered some being a little skeptical and now I won't go with anything else !!!!
  6. I started using these as well for transition and movement drills , it's helping me out a ton for reaquiring faster as well as sight pictures !
  7. Well then I suppose I'll keep practicing until I can't get it wrong , because as it stands right now I'm still not right yet
  8. Has anyone used the upgrade kit from Henning at all ? I noticed Stoeger sells them on his website as well . I'm new to the USPSA scene and I have 2 stock 2's , One I am going to leave alone because I'll probably sell it ( Impulse buy lol ) , and the other I would like to build on . I'm asking because I'm curious if there are reliabilty issued involved with changing the items out . I've shot glocks for years so the Tanfo platform is a small learning curve for me just to be sure I can get it as reliable as possible . Thanks so much !
  9. I did the same as Nealio , I shoot primarily 124G HP so I set everything up for a shorter OAL . If I feel the need to load RN rounds I just switch to a different press . I have 2 9mm square deal B presses so it's pretty convenient for me just to set them both up for bullet type ! I learned about setting OAL for HP round shorter the hard way , I loaded several boxes and had nothing but feed problems . I was just getting into reloading at the time and honestly had zero clue as to what I was doing . But with help from some of the guys here I had everything squared away and have been good to go since !
  10. I've tried several styles of grips on my stock 2's , I have small hands so I needed grips that had a thinner taper so I could manipulate the slide stop and reach the mag release better . I tried the Copper guns grips , Graufels , but the best I found for ME are the SSI Scale grips . Your hand just pours into the scales getting a VERY tight grip but the unique thing about them is I thought they would be uncomfortable and they aren't at all , I love them !!
  11. So many reloads in fact that the bluing on 2 of my mags is showing some serious abuse
  12. I'll be shooting production this year with a stock 2 , I've been practicing reloads like they're going out of style . I'm probably doing 50 - 75 reloads a day and have been doing this for almost a month lol .
  13. With me being new to Uspsa this year I took the plunge and bought a Tanfoglio Stock 2 for my first gun ( actually I bought 2 lol ) .... Coming from a glock in IDPA it wasn't really a learning curve for dropping the hammer , just taking my time and getting used to it .
  14. I'm new to Uspsa this year and I'm the guy that is guilty of thinking I need to practice so much before I even go . I've done so many reloads I've worn the finish out of the inside of the mag well and off the magazines and I've had to replace a firing pin already lol . Thanks for this guide , puts things into perspective and much more simplified , at least for me !!
  15. Interesting question for the guys and gals . When you are dry fire practicing , how many dry fire reloads would you say you have done as opposed to live fire reloads . I'm putting a heave emphasis on reload practice so I'm curious !
  16. I need to work on my speed some as well . The unfortunate downfall of shooting IDPA and being more accuracy focused . I'm new to Uspsa this year so I'm sure I'm going to take quite a few beatings until I can get somewhat up to par !
  17. This is something I need to work on myself . I'm somewhat new to Uspsa this year so my plan is to not overthink and just go with it . I figured the more I watch the more I'll learn over time .
