for those that do this. doesn't your trigger finger hit your forefinger on the left hand? Or would this only be possible if you were deep seating your trigger finger?

I personally use Nightforce. I have a couple of them and depending on how power you are looking for depends on which you get. if you keep in the 5-25x i would go with the MOAR-t reticle in the NXS. I have their MOAR reticle in my nxs and also the Competition version in 15-55x with the FCR reticle. on the cheaper end and one I also have and use, would be the sightron SIII in either 8-32x or 10-50x you can find those under a grand and they are great glass.

just received the maddmacs comp and will be putting it on along with a new fast fire mount for my son. I got him the black dog holster and the factory rail is in the way so I got the mount that goes in the dovetail. What are your guys thoughts on ammo for the ruger lite? my 41 loves CCI-SV but not sure what the consensus is on the lite.

If you want them to be collectible, you shouldnt really shoot them at all. Agreed. I have a NIB Black and White I was considering selling.

They are no longer allowed to import them into the US. so the german made ones stopped being brought in late 2014 so only what is already stateside is the pool. There is talk of US Made versions coming out at some point, but it is unclear when or if they will be the same quality or product in the end

what are the opinions on the tacsol paclite comp?

What are your thoughts on whether these are now collectible and need to be shot sparingly I have 2 and am considering letting the pretty one go. Let me here what you guys/gals have to say

Ruger Lites or Buckmarks are both good choices. I shoot NSSF Rimfire Challenge with Ruger Lites because they're light and I like its' grip angle best. There's lots of stuff available for both to get a set-up you like. I will have to look into that and see if any of the nssf stuff is close to here. What upgrades have you done to your lites?

Ok here's the background, I have a stock Ruger lite 22/45 I bought for my wife and I have a s&w 41 performance center for myself with a Clark threaded 5.5 barrel. I want to start shooting with my son and teaching him pistol basics and get in to some steel shooting. I'm tired of him playing video games. I want to build us a couple of pistols we can compete with and can't decide if either of the models I have already are what I should get a second of and build from there, or should I get us 2 new Ruger lites or possibly buck marks? I took him to the range Saturday and we shot them both and he liked the Ruger, but wants his own. We shoot red dots as I find it easier to focus on aiming on the target. I'm willing to spend the money to get us setup correctly. I'm new to the competitive pistol arena. Thanks in advance
