  1. It's not all about the beauty. As long as it run smoothly and you got all the A's, I am sure you are happy!!
  2. Nice pistol! You prefer the green than the red fiber?
  3. I used the thumb rest last Saturday and Sunday competition. It run flawlessly without a single problem. I put a skateboard tape to the portion where my thumb rest for extra traction. Small things make a big difference.

  10. Do you guys shoot any steel challenge matches up there in Georgetown? No we don't, but Ant Hill in NC has Steel Challenge every 2nd Sunday of the month. It is about 70 miles of Myrtle Beach.Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk
  11. 4 stages and about 100rds. Just bring 2x that number of rounds. Registatrion fee is $15.00.
  12. There will be a USPSA match this Sunday 08/02/15 in Georgetown SC. It is about 40 min drive from Myrtle Beach. Competition will start 9:00am and usually end around between 1pm or 2pm. From Myrtle Beach take 17S towards Georgetown, and upon arriving Georgetown take 701 and then Hwy 51. From that intersection the range is about 2.5 miles away on your right. You can see the sign "USPSA".
  13. Love it to the point that I have to choose between the PT and the Nitro fin. Got a better grip and and my support thumb is in the same position as with my Open gun. to each his own, but you need to consider to add one of these upgrade. Enjoy your new toy!
  14. Hard boiled eggs, Banana and coffee for me..
  15. My goal is to stick with my plan, move fast, shoot accurately and have a good time...
  16. Moved from Glock to 2011 and oh what a difference. I am shooting consistently and really love this gun. The first thing that I noticed in the competition was how tight were my grouping. Grip wise is kinda big for my small hands but that don't really bother to me at all. The trigger...oh man loved it!! I can a CC a Glock all day but competing...I will never go back to plastic.
  17. I just bought a used Edge a month ago, still new with 7 tuned mags, DAA belt, 3 mag pouch and holster for $2200. Can't beat that! Love it and I just added a PT slide stop with thumb rest..
  18. I am using a Safariland 014 holster so I guess using PT thumb rest won't be a problem. Thanks for your input. I just bought and received the PT today. I like it but got a couple of question about the holster that you were using? At first I thought that the holster I have is fine but the thumb rest is too big that it was sitting outside the holster. I was thinking of maybe using a dremel to remove the part on the left side of the holster so that the gun can rest all the way inside the holster. By the way I am using a Safariland 014 holster. Just need an opinion or maybe you can show me how the PT rest on your holster. I also tried to manually lock the slide using the PT but it seems it can't hold the slide. Is this something normal or I need to do some modification to the thumb rest? Thanks.
