LOL you are right! I really need to go back to basic and learn how to use iron sights. I dry fire a lot and I am really working hard on how this things work during my live fire session. I am determined to shoot limited this time and bump my class this year.

You are absolutely right. I have issues in how to recover a good sight picture after my first shot. I am close to my golden age and this is why i love to shoot open division. I decided and challenged myself to shoot limited this time. I preferred to use my prescription glasses than my contact lenses for the reason that I get a good sight picture of the front sight. I dry fire everyday and started shooting limited since the beginning of this year and sometimes disappointed when I see a MIKE in my scoresheet. I thought about maybe, a bigger front sight will help me with this issues.

Well I guess this is the problem, I was used to shoot fast splits in open and trying to find the same results in limited. I am using a small fiber but had issues in terms of my accuracy when shooting fast. I think I need patience and wait for the right time when my eyes will get use of these iron sights. I read that some shooters love to use large front sight for quick acquisition but I am not sure if this will work for longer and tight targets.

Which do you prefer for easy acquisition for close and distant targets, a small or large size fiber optic front sight? I recently moved from open to limited division and I am having vision problem adjusting from red dot to iron sights.

I noticed this while playing with the hammer a while ago. While pulling the trigger and gently guiding the hammer to move forward, sometimes its stays at half cock and I cant pull the trigger. Yes, I detail strip and clean the gun. I was putting rounds when this happened unexpectedly. I shot about 200 rds when this occurred.

Need help from someone who can explain me if what is wrong with the trigger system of my STI. During live fire, the trigger seems lock and or maybe did not reset after each shot that Im having difficulty pulling the trigger on my next round. When dri firing, this issue does not occur and it seems nothing wrong with the trigger system. Trigger is soft and you can feel the reset. I tried to adjust the over travel screw while having this issue but that did not fix the problem. Not sure if I need to replace the ignition component of this gun or if there is just a part that need to be replace. I can't tell how old this gun was or there is already a wear and tear in the component since I bought this gun used. Thanks for any help or advise.

Had the same problem with my first Caldwell chrono. I called the customer service and explained that the chrono sensor was defective and not picking up the right speed. Customer service did not asked for more info about the problem and 4 days later, the new chrono arrived. One happy customer.

I am using HS-6 powder for my open 40 major but I also noticed this cornmeal stuff after shooting and I was wondering where the hell this thing came from. Is these normal?
