Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. if the primer swing arm(the part that moves the primer slide) is set to low it will cause this. happened to me as well raising it slightly fixed the issue.
  2. don"t look back you made the right choice. i had a 650 and upgraded to the 1050. 1050 flies and the swaging for 9mm cannot be beat. enjoy and do not look back. if you have a bullet feeder you will be done loading in a hour or so
  3. if you load 9mm and do not swage them before reloading go with the 1050. i have so much more free time since i got the 1050. in your case i think the 1050 is the way to go if you are just processing brass
  4. went form a lnl to a 650 . best move i have ever made. then moved up to the super 1050 all i can say is wow. when i sold the 650 i was surprised how much i sold it for. put it on eBay for 900 with a lot of extras worth maybe 1200-1300 new. sold in 1 hours should have asked for more
  5. is the case feeder the same on both machine? i have a 1050 may add a 650.
  6. yes something is off i took it apart clean and lubed it. i will see how it goes . seems like i get more then my share of primer slide jams
  7. when running the super 1050 full automated how often does it jam. i have a primer issue or a mister bullet feeder issue every 100 or so rounds. when i am manually doing it
  8. true but the 1050 flies. i should have kept my 650 for other calibers
  9. i just upgraded from a 650 to a 1050. i like the swaging option especially when you buy once fired brass. if you can afford it i would suggest cancelling the 650 and upgrading. but keep in mind caliber changes are much more expensive on the super 1050. i love mine so far.
  10. me and my son shoot at least 1000 rounds a month. just shot 50 rounds of sw500 with a lite load. my cost for a 9mm round is about .08 (i cast my own bullets as well) sw 500 cost was .60 for brass that i will reuse powder about .08 primer .04 and lead .04. compared to 2.50 per bullet and you would probably shoot less then 10. i save a lot of money i shoot as much as i want and do not worry about ammo cost. and i find it relaxing. my equipment cost about $4000.00 one super 1050 a mister bullet feeder and a star re-sizer. i should say that i load the 500 sw on my lee press. i also reload .380 .45acp 30-06 and 44 mag.
  11. do you replace the ratchet or just take it off
  12. if i make the space i will get another 1050 one for sm primers one for large
