With that low of a charge you may have powder bridging, meaning you wont get a full powder dump and a lot of poofers....
It does happen. If you want a lower charge try TItegroup or VV 310.

With the 40 and 45 dropper you will have to periodically tweak the legs on the spring and add tension. You can email RIck and get some spared ordered as well. It only seems to happen with the heavier bullet weights.....

Try adjusting the threaded collar depth up a turn or so. That should help it. Keep going up until it wont drop with the case, then adjust it down until it works 100%. Also you want to use some ground up mica powder to dust the bullets so they run through the tube smoothly. Last, if that won't work, then adjust some more tension on the drop spring and see if that helps...

I love internet conspiracies.....LOL
Trust me
.....after the .356 TSW crap in the 90s Smith could give a rats ass what USPSA thinks or wants (perceived).
The Performance center sells a lot of their wares to Europe and the third world areas with lots of Cash. Most of the guns made are spec'd out by distributors that can pre-sell them. I would imagine the 9mm gun has been in the drawer for years, and now for whatever reason they had an opening in the schedule and (thankfully) it is now when they can manufacture the Ti cylinders.
I just hope they make enough for the initial stampede.........It could be awhile to get one after the initial batch sells out.....

Guys, just take the damn mag disconnect out. It will make life so much easier. Make sure you buy and put the spacer back in. It will make life so much better. That and the loaded round indicator are the first two things that get discarded.....

Pat, as I sit here off convalescing for the holidays I can only tell you that I have been there and dealt with damn near the same thing. Just spend time with your family to offset the bullshit. I drove by the PD yesterday afternoon at shiftchange and all squads were out.......bad sign on Christmas in my town....
Thanks for your service...

I had Forcht develop the rotary drive because of all the problems with the PW unit on a 1050. I would not use one on the 1050 and I sure as hell would not use one on the 650 just for the reason that jmorris stated.....My .02 after using the equipment......

Sinclair sells primer pocket uniforming reamers. Honest to god I can't think of a reason why you would do it in a pistol cartridge unless you are attacked by OCD in a Hulk like rage and cannot fight it off......
The problem with 9mm cases is that there are dozens of manufacturers that have different sizing on their primer pockets, I am sure due to the wear on the mandrel that stamps the hole during the manufacturing process. The fact is that the primer pockets work just fine until we shoot them enough that the brass cannot keep or hold the shape in the case due to repeated firing. At that time, it is time to discard. This is definitely true with running 9major. The cases just wear out because they get worked hard. There is really no way to get around it. The brass case is truly a disposable for us, but I understand trying to recycle them as much as we can.

I do have a nice pile of Zero 150s to load this winter though........

We have been asking for this since they came out with the 8 shot........For them to come out with this when they can't keep up with their regular orders is a big deal. My only concern is that this is a limited order run for Bangers or some other distributor meaning a finite amount of guns and they will sell out first day of SHOT. That means less likely that our local dealers will be able to find them at a reasonable price, which means we will pay out the ass for them......
First gun I have been excitied about in awhile, but I doubt it will work any better than my 38 special guns shooting short colts......My guess is that there will be at least a 3565 diameter bore up to a .358 bore.....why you ask, because that is what they have always done......
Merry Christmas.......

OR you can take another sizing die along with the SDB die to a machine shop and have them turn down and rethread the regular die to fit the toolhead on the SDB and be back in business as well.....

Kevin, the ogive of the 115 jhp bullet is such that you need to load it deep....around 1.110 OAL for fit into most chambers. Think of it as a TC type bullet that is long with short blunt taper. I thought the same thing. They work great for sc practice and the like but don't buy a buttload thinking you can load them long....Your chamber may be set up to handle them.....but check first...

Hang in there, Kevin! Take your meds. I am laid up too and the meds help.....

Solo 1000 gives same recoil impulse and load data between 320 and Solo is around .04 grain difference.

Rob Leatham told me at nationals that he got better accuracy with a roll crimp fyi. I dont know what jacketed bullet he used. When loading the berry 185hbrn I get best accuracy with a .462 taper crimp. Get rid of the fcd and try a regular taper crimp. It might help.
Good luck,

It is most likely either powder contamination or light crimp. If you use case lube, you might be getting some in with the powder. If you are using lube, then try the Ziploc bag to lube the brass.
Secondly, check your crimp. Shoot multiple moons of 4-5 rounds, and leave the last couple round in the moons. Check and see if you are getting bullet jump. If so, bell your case less and use a little more crimp.
Good luck,

Nice snag Kevin! You will enjoy that for sure! Make sure when you are loading the magazines to load one at time and let the follower bump back up. The rounds need to orient themselves in the mag, you just cant pull the follower down and dump 25 rounds in the mag.
The Cool thing is that you can use whatever trigger kit you want to finish off the gun too!

I had the good fortune to Shoot with Jaime, Linda, and Doug at the Steel Challenge several times, and treasure the shooting memories with them and her.
She always had a warm smile and enjoyed herself, and it was nice to see her and Jamie be so happy together sharing the shooting passion together.
Prayers sent for the family with warmest regards.....

John, I think the PSA shootout in Palmyra,PA is that weekend....it draws most of the revo shooters on the East coast....been doing that for over 13 years.....it might cut into your attendance....I just wanted to let you know if you have any flexibility on the dates yet....

Look into the chamber and make sure there is nothing left in the front of the chamber. On some barrels if there is a sharp edge on the chamber as the round goes into the chamber it will slice off a little bit and deposit the ring in the front of the chamber. You will have intermittent light strike issues when it is just the round not chambering all the way due to the gunk. Clean the chamber with a good brush and see if that helps....

WST really spiky with lower bullet weights in 9mm due to case capacity....Some people load 147 with it with low charge weight. Go ahead and try it....I got bad pressure signs at 135PF with 122 lfp and gave up on it for 9mm, which mirrors others.

Kevin, I would stay away from the WST. Start at 4.0 231 and chrono from there. If you could find Tightgroup 4.2 would give you a nice load as well.....

Also check the plastic bushing on the bottom of the body of the press that rides into the collar at the bottom. IF that area wears you will need to replace it (plastic bushing) or lube it with some moly paste. Just enough for it to move smoothly. I would also recommend checking all the allen head screws on the measure and if you haven't, put a drop of blue loctite on all of those little buggers, as they will work loose......I also recommend using two adjustment screws on the bottom of the failsafe rod. Put the bottom one on upside down. When you get the rod where you want it for smooth operation then tighten the two together and it will keep the one screw from working itself loose.....
Good luck,
DougC
