Agreed. I was thinking of using some graphite powder in the holes but figured excess could get a little messy. Other options could be burnt flower. Maybe colored chalk dust. Any other thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This buckle setup is awesome. I got their belt too and the only pain was trimming the velcro out of the holes to mount the ELS adapters which in reality wasn't that bad. I found flipping the buckle and strap worked better for me and saved belt real estate as I tucked the strap portion right up to my QLS/holster.

So you are running an ELS belt with an ELS fork. Are you still good on the 2-1/8in rule? I was thinking of getting the same setup but using a QLS fork. Could you share your offset measurement from inside of belt? I'd be using with Shadow 2. Thanks Edit: @jon49erfan forgot to ask about durability? I've read some people are stripping out holes on the Safariland kit due to cheap material but it was mostly with the belt attachment, you're not and I won't be using. Have you had any other issues with durability or holes stripping?

Blade tech Drop and Offset with ELS?
jcoeng replied to D.Hayden's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
Looks like a nice setup. I'm still trying to decide between a similar setup and a BOSS. Are you still using this setup and have you had any issues with it? I've heard of people stripping screws when adjusting these. I was looking at using the same with a QLS fork, any idea if the mounting will accept a QLS, and if the 2-1/8" rule will be intact. Looks like your using the BSPS BT holster. Did you make an adapter plate to mount that to the Safariland hanger or did it bolt right on? -
Dillon Case feeder Questions.

The loot showed up. Also got a cartridge retaining spring to replace the white plastic primer cover. Supposed to enable clearing the station easier slightly off topic but still valuable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Dillon Case feeder Questions.
jcoeng replied to Got2beshooting's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
Hey guys, took a course at TPC last weekend and met a great guy who works at Dillon while there. Apparently the trick to fix this is to order a AT500 funnel and install it as a pre-feed tube funnel (have to remove the front covers). It reduces the aperture and prevents the jamming and the following calisthenics. Going to order one myself and I can post results after. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Dillon Case feeder Questions.

Been having the same issue in my 1050. Bench and press are rock solid but given the feeder arm is floating, wondering if anyone has added a spacer under it for more support or if it needs to float for proper function? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Not necessarily cheaper but there is also Missouri Bullets. Does anyone have any feedback on particular brands to avoid for quality/consistency/performance? I'm guessing in the quest for low cost that some are cutting corners somewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Titanium Carbo-Nitride (TiCN) coating on 2011

Ah understood, didn't mean to over-splain it. Just learning about it all myself. -
Titanium Carbo-Nitride (TiCN) coating on 2011
jcoeng replied to Maxximuss's topic in 1911-style Pistols
Correct, the thin film PVD coatings adopt the surface finish of the substrate they adhere to. The coatings are only a couple microns thick, not enough to fill the small valleys/pits in a non polished surface. for those interested, I also received some more info that to coat aluminum the parts need to be nickel plated first, not anodized. -
Titanium Carbo-Nitride (TiCN) coating on 2011

I've also been doing a lot of research and cold calling looking for copper color PVD. Richter said they don't do it anymore. The places that seem to have the most promise for getting a good copper color are: Crystallume http://crystallumepvd.com/ ACS Coating http://acscoating.com/ Swiss-Tek Coating (they state their color has more red in it) http://swiss-tekcoatings.com/coatinginfo.html I've got a list of at least 10 shops that won't/can't do it. I'm looking to have accessories done, safeties, slide stop etc. in the TiCN-MP, but I'd also like to get the aluminum parts, magwell, trigger bow etc. From what I've found its really difficult to get a TiCN coating on Aluminum, but I've got a few places willing to try. From what I've been told, having the parts anodized first helps adhesion. Does anyone know of a shop that can do TiCN MP on aluminum substrate? I'd really like the same color on all the parts. -

So very thankful it's returning results now. However I think there could still be some tuning necessary. Searching for a multi word string used to return results only containing all of the words. Now the results come back that contain any of the words. And the same threads are still listed multiple times in the results. Anyone else seeing the same thing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Interesting to note it seems like it's pulling up the same thread multiple times in the search results now. See attached. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I'm still not getting any search results in any part of the forum. I can search within threads but not posts or topics. Any progress on this? I've contacted tapatalk also who said they were looking into it but that was 4 days ago since I've heard back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
