  1. Sounds like a great setup! I use the CR mag pouches but have considered getting some Ghost. Can anyone give their opinion which they prefer and why? The BOSS hanger is outstanding! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. I've been shooting a G17 w/Ghost Edge trigger and other mods. Just completed trigger job on a new CZ 75 SP-01 and have about 500 rounds of practice. Will shoot my first USPSA match in a couple of weeks. Will report back if I think the new "arrow" makes a better Indian! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Http://gregcotellc.com Mec-Gar mags. Half the price of factory mags and have a really slick finish so they drop easy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I just received CGW EZ-D sights. Front is installed but I'm having trouble removing the rear. They we're recommended over everything else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks again for the good input. I got my SP-01 and installed the CGW upgrades. Having a little trouble getting the rear sight off. Once the replacement is completed it will be time to practice. My main goal is improved accuracy over the Glock. Will post updates on progress. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks for the input. I figured with a little practice it should be the new normal. Too many of you using CZ's not to be good! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. It's stock at the moment but waiting on upgrades from CGW. Should be pretty sweet when it's done. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Any thoughts on change from Glock to CZ SP-01 for USPSA Production? Easy transition or will it take a while to adjust to the DA/SA trigger when the timer goes off? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Have to add my 2 cents but TTI are the best and I've had'em all. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I just picked up a SP-01 and ordered parts from CGW. I went a little nuts and spent $400 but you don't have to spend half that. Here is what I ordered; SRS-2 which includes new firing pin and 2 hammer springs. Kit3 Hammer T2 disco EZ/D sights 85C trigger Tuner PAC recoil spring kit Some pins and a tool to replace trigger Too much but it should be sweet when complete! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New G17!

I started with a G23 Gen 3 but it was too big for my hands. Sold it and bought a G17 Gen 4. Fits my hand much better and I can reach the mag release like you said. I now use mine for USPSA Production. Installed Ghost Edge trigger kit and Dawson Precision competition FO front sight and black rear sight. 3,000+ rounds without a hiccup! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I have the Ghost Edge trigger kit in my G17 and have it is pretty good. Does anyone think it would be worth the money to get a Dk trigger for USPSA Production? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Have the Boss holster and it is outstanding! Worth the wait if they get it back in stock. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Everyone told me to get the belt 4" more than my waist. I wear 34" pants and usually a 36" belt so I bought a 38" CR Speed belt. Wish I had bought the 36" as the 38" has too much overlap. It is still better for it to be a little big than too small. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I started using Frog Lube for all my pistols until this winter. I took my Sig P229 out to the range on a 30 something degree day. The gun would not fire. Everything seemed to be working fine but I was getting light strikes. The Frog Lube seemed to be pretty gummed up on the internals. So I put the gun on my warm engine block for a few minutes and then took it off, quickly reloaded it and it fired fine. I think the Frog Lube was causing the light strikes due to the cold temperatures. I treated the gun as instructed but I'm sure some of the lube got into the firing pin channel causing the issue. Since then I have switched to Rand CLP. Same environmentally friendly compound but stays slick in all weather. Frog Lube is still a good product and I wouldn't hesitate to use it in warm weather but beware when it gets cold!
  16. Newbie to guns and competition. Bought my first pistol in January 2013 and have been addicted ever since! Started shooting steel Challenge last summer, IDPA in the fall and USPSA in December. Shot a 3-Gun match in March and it was a blast. Shot my first USPSA major match at Battle of the Bluegrass V this past weekend and won Production "D" Class! So as you can tell I now have a addiction issue and I am broke from buying all the equipment. Looking forward to learning from all the experience here on the forums. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks to Corey and everyone who made this a great event. It was my first Battle and it was a great time. Looking forward to next year already! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
