After shooting several indoor matches this winter, I was eager to hit the first outdoor "official match''. Having decent results, I confident signed up for USPSA membership, hoping to get an official standing. On the 5th stage, I was really pumped. I was doing better then I expected and this stage was perfect for me. I ran through it, mentally, a dozen times before my turn came. Buzzer sounded, aa on the near target, ac ac on the 2 @ 25yd, swing across and run for next two. Again, AA on the first, I am running now, Alpha and JAM..... I see the jam, I know what to do, still pointing at the target, forgot to tell my ass to stop running. Broke the 180 by a hair before I could stop. RO was a nice guy and I saw the look of regret on his face when he tapped me. Only one stage to go in the match. Had a great time though. Live and learn.

Accelerometer works very well. Last week I saw a Beta version of a Smartphone app for the Shotmaxx - looks great. Waiting for it to pop up at the App Store. Was told it will cost $5.00

Didn't think of the list. I guess the 9mm slide will have to go. Will be looking for a 9mm Stock 2.With current availability, I may have to go CZ or maybe even M&P Pro

I love my Match Elite. Purchase as 45 to get into NJ, then got the 9mm conversion. Wanting to shoot USPSA production, I need a DA gun. Henning sells the DA trigger and interruption, would also need a DA hammer. What do you guys think? Looks like I may wind up with a $150 upgrade to a Stock II with a 4.75" barrel. Would still be able to shoot Limited major with the 45slide in SA.

I was considering the purchase of a 40 long slide conversion for my Match and adding an interruption, making it DA/SA. Seems that I would then have a Stock II with a longer barrel.

The long slide conversion has the Supersight rear.

When installing a front sight, I find that smearing some locktite on the underside of the front sight, in addition to the set screw, ensures a secure install.

If your Match has the Super Sight rear, you can go as low as .120 . I am using a Dawson .125 .

Although trapped in the Peoples Republic of NJ, I happily discovered competitive shooting a year ago. Thanks to this forum, I've learned a lot. Thanks to all who share their knowledge.
