Wooo, Wooo, Wooo,
I am not suggesting that I am changing my gun. My " trick of the day " days are over.
I am happy with how my gun works for me, and I have run hundreds of drills, with hundreds of different combinations, to see what appears to work best for me. Deep down inside, I believe that a solid 686 is still a formidable choice for a match revolver, however, I , like so many of us love the extra rounds that an 8 shot can provide. I went to a super for the " quicker " reload, and yet when I shoot my old V Comp, the reloads seem to be the same. At my size, I should be able to muscle a cannon. I can't see me changing my gun now, it is producing solid results, and I am lazy.
This is merely an opportunity to see what science says about ports. It could be a useful tool for the slightly built shooters out there, who can't eat a full rack of ribs, and then look for ice cream. I have a dream......alright, I am off track, but this is just for kicks.
As for you Dave.....95 pf steel loads, and you used to shoot pins......
On Outer Limits, does the stop plate clang before the back right plate?
I do like the sound of the 150rn.......After I get an initial list ,I will send you what we have, and between us we can fill in the gaps. Bear in mind, I wasn't planning on test 1000's of loads.
keep em coming guys.......
