  1. Throw away the bottle... greatest ruse ever. LOL
  2. http://www.benstoegerproshop.com/EGD-Xtreme-EAA-Tanfogolio-Fiber-Optic-Front-Sight-p/egd-fs.htm
  3. Here we see a Stock 2 in the wild... After thousands of reloads, the magwell is beat to crap, any trace of electroplating is gone. I took a file to it to get the burrs off and did thousands more reloads. The finish is friggin GONE and yet remarkably no rust, and even more remarkably the metal looks like every other stainless steel I've ever seen. I live in a swamp, just the humidity in the air will make raw steel rust in days, I cannot keep the rust off my deer rifle no matter how hard I try and yet this magwell has never had so much as a drop of oil on it for rust prevention. This is why I say, I don't know what kind of metal it is but it acts like stainless steel.
  4. The Xtreme fits with no Loctite. I use a little blue Loctite on the screw threads just on principle. I hear slathering it down with green Loctite will fix your Dawson problems, as well.
  5. Dawsons are not optimal, I have 2 and they both wiggle, the set screw does not match the hole. The Xtreme is a perfect replacement for the stock sight and does not move at all. But to be honest, a dot of neon orange nail polish on the stock sight is almost as good as fiber optic.
  6. My 6 lb long slide spring was taking a crap on me during a class, slow to return to battery and sometimes needed a "bump" to help it out. The teacher was a sponsored shooter for EAA and told me to get a 10lb, I did and never had a problem since. If there is a difference in recoil between 6 and 10lb, it isn't enough to notice.
  7. Chromed = plated Any plating would come off when I hit it with a file. Literally, I can take off metal with a file and it is the same metal throughout. That is not plating. It acts exactly like stainless steel.
  8. I don't know what it is in Italy, but in the US "chrome" refers to chrome plating. I can file burrs from a thousand reloads off the frame on the Stock 2 and there is no plating, I would call that Stainless Steel. I'm not a metallurgist or anything so FYI...
  9. What am I missing? 2500 124gr RN from Acme = 197.75 incl. shipping or 7.91c/rd. A case of 3500 124gr RN from Bayou runs $246 shipped, or 7.02c/rd A case of 3700 SNS 125r RN runs $261 shipped, or 7.05c/rd A case of 3500 124gr CN from BBI runs $235 shipped or 6.71c/rd A case of 3600 (non Hi-Tek, but decent coating) 125gr RN Blue Bullets runs $256 shipped, or 7.11c/rd We can also get Xtreme 124gr RN for 8c/rd before sales. What makes the 'magic' to price a new, yet another Hi-Tek coated bullet, with quality established and known competition out there, 1c higher/rd even with discount code? Always happy to see a new business, but not when they're not price-competitive. 3350 Black and Blue Bullets 125g coated for $218 shipped or .065c/rd (not counting a 5% at 5000 rds or 10% at 10000 rd discount AND an additional 10% last Black Friday)
  10. A Stock 1 has the barrel of the Stock 2 with the cone shape lockup. the frame is like a CZ. In stock at Tombstone The Limited Pro has the frame of the Stock 2 but with a normal barrel, also in stock. The Limited is the single action version of the Stock 2, also in stock. You have a lot of options without having to order a conversion kit.
  11. Did a trigger Job on the new Stock 2, got it sighted in. Shot some Dot Drills with it, I am getting so close to cleaning that thing. Still clean 2 second Bill Drills regularly. My draw is not blazing fast, a hair over a second, but I can hit what I am aiming at. If I step it up to a .9 then my accuracy suffers. Signed up for my first major match.
  12. There are about 3 parts that can get lost really easily on a Tanfo and they all revolve around the Plunger/Mag release. The Plunger Pin, the mag release spring and the mag release plunger. Break a plunger spring and you've got to screw with all three. You don't want to do that in the safe area. I did it at the kitchen table and I still can't find the mag release plunger. On a side note, these 3 parts are modifications to the CZ design, replacing "leaf" springs with coil springs. Which is a plus, until you lose one.
  13. Dan offered me one a week ago, after I already got one. If he still has one, then forum members aren't paying attention.
  14. Since it is an internal modification, can I hog out a 9mm barrel to fit a .356 Winchester rifle cartridge?
  15. I think it is a loop hole in the phrasing that needs to be closed. You can't put a .38 super in a 9x19 and pull the trigger so it is a different "caliber" even if the diameter is the same. But my opinion doesn't count. However, you can get 9mm 9x19 projectiles in .355, .356, and .357. This all needs to be tightened up.
  16. 2 sec Bill Drills are the norm. .9 draws are pushing it. 1.2 sec draws are comfortable and accurate.
  17. I'm having some grips made thinner than factory thicker than EG aluminum, when he gets the design finished, I'm sure he will be offering them to the general public. I got no stake in it, other than finally getting some grips I am happy with at a decent price. I'll give a shout out when they are done.
  18. The Production list weight is 45.85oz, it must be a typo by EAA. http://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-NROI-production-gunlist.php
  19. I'm just trying to follow along... The goal is to keep the guns in the division (more or less) as produced from the factory So barrel swapping a 38 super to a 9mm is ok but to a 40 is not ok. I don't get the logic there because neither is as produced from the factory. I'm wondering if the rules regarding this have become ineffective. Or just silly. You can trick a Tanfo with Xtreme custom parts, even the trigger and hammer, because they are "factory parts" but in the US you cannot purchase any new firearm that comes with those parts. Over seas, you can special order a firearm with those custom parts, if I understand it correctly. Somehow that meets the standard of "2000 manufactured and available to the general public". You can shoot an Accu Shadow if it was born an Accu Shadow, but if the CZ Custom shop puts the Accu Shadow bushing on a Shadow, it isn't legal? Do I have that right? And I can part swap the safety off my Stock 1 to the Stock 2 so I can get a higher grip and not engage the ambi safety by accident, not a factory configuration but legal because both guns are on the approved list. But, if I just take off the right side of the Stock 2 safety, it would be an external modification. How does any of that conform to the idea that this Production division is for factory produced guns?
  20. But you can parts swap to your hearts content between approved guns.
  21. i assumed someone put a 10mm barrel in a .40 and blew it up in a match. If it isn't to prevent this kind of thing, what is the rule there to prevent?
  22. It wouldn't be legal for Production, though. D4 21.3
  23. My first Stock 2 came from Buds. No issues on that transaction.
  24. Tombstone Tactical has 15 in stock Buds Gun Shop has multiple in stock
  25. lol why are you looking to buy? You just sold two sequentially numbered stock twos, because you like the Stock 3 better. Then you sell two sequentially numbered stock threes, because you like the Lim Pro better. Now you're looking to get back in the Stock two game? uh huh He is a dealer that got caught selling on Enos without being a vendor Rut-roh
