Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. "Take your time in the beginning, and the speed will come." That advice is obviously key, but hard to do. I'm gonna tack it up on the wall...
  2. lol Thanks. I got a lot to learn...
  3. Hey, this is a stupid question, but-There's a "Tier 2" match in Berryville this spring, and I can't figure out what that means as applied to this match. Specialty gun? Don't mean to be lazy, but I thought that designation meant BUG, Revolver or whatnot...
  4. Hope they produce a .45 version...
  5. IDPA rule changes shouldn't bother anybody by now, because historically and obviously there will be another rulebook re-do within a few months, anyway.
  6. Well, I'm older than Methuselah, but I'm still gonna have to go back to the drawing board-square #1... Glad I actually enjoy training.
  7. Well, I'm getting 3 books and a DVD. Got somethin' to do this winter besides continuing to repeat mistakes, hopefully...
  8. Cool. I know that when I acquire two distinct sight pictures, mine is more of a controlled pair, and very slow, especially with .45 ACP. After thousands of rounds through an M9 over about a 6-week period, I noticed a slight, but perceptible increase in speed. I've just lived with it... Now, what about strong- or weak-hand only? Locked...?
  9. Concur; this one is an outstanding resource.
  10. Thanks. Just ordered two Ben Stoeger books..
  11. Motosapiens; has your double-tap changed?
  12. Makes sense. I'll try it next time I shoot...
