  1. Shipment was delayed outside of Memphis and will not be at the FFL until today. Looks like I can’t get it until Monday.
  2. Just this weekend unfortunately. We’ll be back up on the 6th of April but just to babysit.
  3. I finally got the call yesterday! Gun should be at my FFL this afternoon so 15 months almost to the day. I’ve got to find some time to sight it in and develop a load before next weekend. I was going to do all that this weekend but received even better news! I have a new Granddaughter so we are headed to Ft Campbell tomorrow. This has been a week filled with great phone calls.
  4. Nice! We need to get together for practice at Rowan one weekend. If the rain will ever stop!
  5. That’s good news. Post up some pics so I can live vicariously.
  6. This is very true. I don’t know if any of these fit the chamber but will hopefully know in about 2 weeks. I bet most of the loads I loaded today would fit as they “almost” fit the gauge. They were all loaded for a buddy and he’s shooting them from a stock glock.
  7. I reset my sizing die and made sure it was low enough. I ran 100 cases and it is much better but still had about 10% that did not set completely flush. One of those was a cracked case and 8 were CBC brass. I’ll look into the EGW die. Thanks again
  8. Thanks for the replies. I went through the rejects and 50% are CBC. I will double check the sizing die
  9. I was curious what everyone’s rejection rate was when you case guage your ammo. I just bought a Hundo 9mm guage and am getting about 20% rejects.
  10. Still waiting. I talked to them yesterday and everything is back from being coated. Apparently the only thing left to do is to put it together and test fire it. They told me 2 weeks and it would be shipped as long as everything was right.
  11. My story is much the same as everyone else. My first stage started with (5) 6" plates at about 15yds. I was shooting a compact HK45 and it took me 3 mags to clear it, I think I shot 5 more targets and left the rest since I was out of ammo. Second stage started of with a Texas Star and 5 years later I have still not cleaned a star as fast as I did that one. The rest of that match just got worse and the only reason I wasn't dead last was because my buddy was worse then me, but not by much. He was so nervous , he was shaking like a Chihuahua in an ice storm. Randy Carter was on my squad and is probably the only reason I came to a second match. Everyone was extremely helpful but Randy chuckled at me on that Texas Star and told me to cherish that one because it would be down hill from there. He was right. 5 years later and I am still a B class shooter but have so much fun.
  12. 14 months right now. I always expected March or April delivery and it’s looking like March.
  13. Called SVI yesterday because I couldn’t remember if I had told them what trigger pull I wanted. I requested it to be at 1.75lb. They said the gun was still at coating so they would set it when they assembled it. “Patiently “ waiting.
  14. Gotcha. I think it was the F’s that had me worried. I couldn’t remember what the deal was with those but if they stay, then I’m good to go. Thanks
  15. That is what I used to think as well but if you look at the rules it is the best six out of the last eight. It does not say anything about oldest. I hope that you are right because I would like to stay in B class for a while longer.
  16. I've been shooting uspsa for about 4.5 years and still don't understand the classifier calculation enough to know which classifier will get dropped this week. I am currently at 70.9058 in open and have the following scores to make that up. Feb 9 18-04 P 82.9522 Feb 9 06-03 P 74.3100 Feb 02 F Jan 22 18-05 Y 66.7177 Jan 19 D Jan 19 B Jan 13 18.02 Y 78.9634 Jan 13. B Jan 13 B Jan 12 18-07 Y 70.3809 Jan 12 B Jan 12 B Dec 22 B Dec 08 03-05 Y 64.2767 Nov 10 B Nov 03 B Oct 13 F Oct 06 99-13 Y 72.7926 Sep 08 06-04 Y 72.3035 The way I understand the classification system is that the best 6 of the last 8 classifiers is what is used to calculate your current classification. That would mean that the 64% and the 66% would drop? Just checking to see if that's correct. Thanks.
  17. I’ve never had an issue with any brand primer in the vibra prime. I don’t use the plastic piece that came with it. I put the tube straight in it and seems to work fine.
  18. I have loaded a few thousand on my 1050 with no issues. The 150 count sleeves were a bit of a pain. I usually load 10 primer tubes at a time so I used a pair of scissors and cut a sleeve cover so that 50 primers would fall out at a time. I dump 2 sleeves at a time into the vibra prime and the sleeves that are left have 100.
  19. That would be awesome. Luckily work has had so much stupidity going on that I haven’t had time to think about it. I expect mine late next month or early March
  20. Very nice! I am actually starting to get a little antsy in anticipation. I just ordered another 2000 PD 124’s so I can develop a load when mine gets here. I need to call SV and see about adding some mags.
  21. @Posvar i was was on your squad Saturday. You just need more time with the gun and to build confidence in your ability to shoot it. Compare your scores to mine, I was 9th overall. You will see that our hits were about the same except I had 4 mikes where you had 0 mikes. I ran the match in 101 seconds where you ran it in 134 seconds. The difference was in speed and speed is in transitions and moving into and out of position. Push the speed and make your eyes learn to keep up. I do that at a lot of local matches and have seen the improvements. I have had matches with 16 mikes but the mikes are getting less. You also need to take your dry fire outside. Practice shooting at a couple of target, reloading within a step, then eyes focused on the spot on the ground where your plant foot is going to go. Plant that foot and aquire the target as your body is rotating into position. You also need to do bill drills and transition drills in live fire. There is no reason that an old fat guy like me should be 33 seconds faster than you on a 6 stage match where 3 of those stages were classifiers. It was good shooting with you and hope to see you at the next one.
