  1. Still no response from my email a week ago. Still no one answering their phone. Anyone else have any other ideas?
  2. Thank you. I will give him a call early next week.
  3. I have called several times and have sent an email. Still haven't received any response.
  4. Ok as in its good or ok as in it works, but its only ok?
  5. I tried calling them this morning too, and got their message system that said to send an email.
  6. Just emailed them. I will see what they say.
  7. Did you ever hear back from Timney? I just tried installing the Timney Trigger into my gen 5 34 and am having the same issue. The striker will not release.

    Glock 34 Trigger

Well, so far no luck. I had not heard back from Johnny Glock, so I called him. No answer, but he texted me and said that if my trigger isn't working its a problem with my gun. My gun is a brand new gen 5 glock 34. The only after market part of the gun is his trigger. He says he will call me later today.... UPDATE: he never called. Definitely not the product or experience I have read about with Johnny Glock on here. Looking at Glock talk it appears I am not the only one to have issues.

    Glock 34 Trigger

I emailed him. He sad he was going to get back to me with some ideas. No prep, just a brand new stock glock 34.

    Glock 34 Trigger

I am using the 4.5 spring. I just checked the weight in a Lyman trigger pull gauge. Johnny Glock competition trigger with 4.5 spring= 5 pound pull. I am pretty disappointed to say the least.

    Glock 34 Trigger

Lighter than stock, defined wall, very little over travel. Its nothing crazy compared to stock, but it was an improvement. My main complaint about the Johnny Glock trigger is that it really isn't anything better than a stock trigger. There is less take up and less over travel, but it is heavy.

    Glock 34 Trigger

Just got a Johnny Glock trigger. Not sure what everyone is raving about. Very short take-up and overtravel, but the trigger is heavier than stock. This was after i sent the trigger back the first time because the trigger would not break. I contacted Johnny Glock and he said that the trigger not breaking sometimes happens with Gen 5 glocks. I guess I will keep contacting him. I get it won't ever be super crisp, single action trigger, but i was expecting an improvement over a stock trigger. I have another Glock 34 with a Vogel trigger in it. The Vogel trigger is leaps and bounds better.
  13. Just tried the gun without a safety even in it and it did the same thing. I also tried some of my other uppers. They don't seem to have the problem. I then took the bolts from the other uppers and put them in the 10.3 upper. The problem came back. So as far as I can tell the trigger doesn't like the CMT billet upper.
  14. Safety seems to work. I will see if it works eith a different safety.
  15. The AR is nothing special. It's a 10.3 inch SBR with a Spikes tactical lower. Upper is a CMT tactical with a full mass Odin Works carrier. The rifle has had a Geissele and a trigger tech trigger in it. Both of them functioned without any issues.
  16. I won an AR Gold Trigger off of the prize table at Gen III this past weekend. I installed it into one of my ARs and found something weird. When I dry fire the gun the and hold the trigger back and then rack the charging handle 1 of 2 things happens. If I slowly let the bolt down the trigger resets and seems to work normal. If I release the charging handle or lock the bolt back and hit the bolt release the trigger does not reset and I have a dead trigger. I have not had a chance to make it to the range to test it with live ammo yet, but it seems like I may have an issue if the trigger is not resetting. Anyone else ever run into this issue?

    Tripod

  18. I would guess because according to Mcgowen (who makes the barrel) they say that the melonite makes the smaller parts on the barrel like the barrel extension lugs weaker. I have had two barrel extensions on my stretch barrel have the lugs deform and cause issues.
  19. I had the exact opposite experience. My Tf extension kept binding up and my CZC extension worked just fine. I filed down inside the magazine with the TF extension and it now works though.
  20. What about using the lower power springs included with hiperfire trigger? Will not help with not damaging firing pins?
  21. I am well aware that I really don't need the forward assist, but my upper has the forward assist button so I would like to keep it functional as long as it is there. Just me being wierd I guess.
  22. I am looking to get a lightweight bolt carrier that has serrations for a forward assist. My rifle has a forward assist, so I would like to keep it functional as long as it is there. From looking around I am thinking either the Faxon lightweight BCC or the Rubber City Armory titanium carrier. Anyone have any input on these two BCGs or any others?
  23. Thanks to the staff that ran the match. This was a great match and I really enjoyed it. The physical obstacles were great. The climbing wall, the rope, the tow straps on stage 4, they were all great. This was my second Blue Ridge the match was challenging and fun. Just for some constructive feed back, stage 2 was very dissapointing, and I heard many complaints. It's fun to test accuracy, but paying the match fee and driving long distances just to shoot like a normal shooting line at home was pretty boring. Being shooter number 1 I also found that even with electronic muffs on it was very hard to hear the timer going off if there was any other shooting going on on stage 1.
