  1. Thanks to the staff that ran the match. This was a great match and I really enjoyed it. The physical obstacles were great. The climbing wall, the rope, the tow straps on stage 4, they were all great. This was my second Blue Ridge the match was challenging and fun. Just for some constructive feed back, stage 2 was very dissapointing, and I heard many complaints. It's fun to test accuracy, but paying the match fee and driving long distances just to shoot like a normal shooting line at home was pretty boring. Being shooter number 1 I also found that even with electronic muffs on it was very hard to hear the timer going off if there was any other shooting going on on stage 1.
  2. Just purchased one. I am excited to get it up and running
  3. Will the stretch 16 run with a full mass BCG using freedom munitions .223 55gr?
  4. Will the gas block on the stretch 16 fit under a KMR rail? It looks like the gas block it comes with is a clamp on block and I have not had much luck getting a clamp on block that fits under the KMR.
  5. I finally got around to cleaning the shotgun and inspecting it. Everything looks pretty normal. I did have some built up just in front of the chamber. Makes me wonder if it is the cone problem.
  6. Alright, will do. I am on vacation for a few more days so I will look in a few days. Would tightening the screws where the tube meets the receiver help? I don't think they are loose, but the gun is about 1000 miles away from me right now.
  7. Thanks for all the replies guys. The main slugs that I have been using are the Rio low recoil slugs. I have also tried tru bal slugs, low recoil federal tactical slugs, and a few other full power hunting slugs. The gun has not been grouping well at all. I have only ever been able to get one decent group and that was at 50 yards. At 50 yards it was about 2 feet to the right and about 1.5 feet low. That was early on with the gun. Since then I am have trouble hitting a 3x3 foot piece of cardboard at 50 yards. The gun has probably had about 100 slugs through it. The gun is the competition model so it has the rear sight on it. I have tried multiple different rear inserts with no luck. The tube on the gun is the one piece tube that Remington is using. I think I remember reading that it is not the same as the Versatube.
  8. I have been shooting a Versa Max Competition since October and I can't seem to find a slug that it will shoot anywhere near the point of aim. Anyone have any suggestions?
  9. I have the Versamax Competition with the rear sight and I am contemplating taking it off. Even with the lowest rear sight it does seem to get in the way for me.
  10. Do you know what size the replacement cotter pin you got from advanced auto was? I am having the same problem right now, but I have a big match to shoot in next week and I am not sure if the replacement from Mossberg will be here in time.
