  2. I know if it's different but I believe the thread pattern is the same maybe MarkCO will chime in as it is his versatube design.
  3. I believe the thread pattern is the same for the regular versamax so a nordic tube shpuld fit. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  4. Mine will be here this week and I will be modifying the foreend and maybe the shell latch. I don't plan on modifying the loading port unless it is needed. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  5. I received 2 in-stock emails this morning from 2 online vendors. http://www.richiespng.com/product.php?id=90804 https://www.defenderoutdoors.com/p-75374-remington-81029-versa-max-competition-tactical-semi-automatic-12-ga-3-10-rounds-22-barrel-synthetic-stock-green-cerakote-90804.aspx I already have one on the way so anyone who is looking for one these two retailers are currently in-stock.
  6. What you are seeing as the dark spot is yhe back of the vent rib post and the bright part is the light reflecting off the barrel of the other side of the rib. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  7. I have the black mountain 3 gun case and it is 50" and fits the barrel of my 28" but my +8 tube sticks out about 3 1/2" Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  8. My FFL called me this morning and it will be here first part of next week. $1290+tax cash price. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  9. So what is the concensus on slugs? I haven't put any through mine yet, but will be this week for a match this weekend. I am plannong on just using old reliable winchester super x. Has anyone had good luck with any reduced recoil slugs in their m3k? Also, are slugs hitting close to poi=poa? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  10. Nice job on your 3000! Which Hi-Viz did you use? Do you recall which thread pitch works? I don't recall. I ordered this one off of Amazon and it came with about 4 or 5 different threads so I just messed with each one until I found a winner. The thread pattern is 3-56 for the front sight. 11. Nice job on your 3000! Which Hi-Viz did you use? Do you recall which thread pitch works? If I remember 6-32 was what mine was, I can tell you when I get home, it was whatever is standard for Benelli. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  12. Both can be done with the M3000. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  13. As far as comparing models I think you are in the right place (search is your friend). As far as my opinion in a budget 3 gun shotgun, it would be the stoeger m3000 my total on the gun is about $750 and 2 hours of tinkering. I have yet to have any issues with the gun. It leaves something to be desired in the fit and finish department, but for something that will be beat up in dump barrels it fits the bill well. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  14. That is the main difference but the sbeII has the upper part of the reciever attached to thw barrel so when you take the barrel off the bolt can be lifted out instead of pulking the charging handle out and sliding the bolt out of the front of the reciever. And like jesse said a SBE II is going to be on the hardervrecoiling of the auto loaders. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  15. The sbe II has the sam3 inertia system as the m2 and they both offer the comfort tech shoch system. Recoil between the stoeger and Benelli would be very comprable. I would go m2 over the sbe II if he doesn't want or need 3 1/2" capabilities. But the Stoeger would also be a good gun. It isn't as pretty in the fit and finish department like a Benelli but it goes boom and will break clays and that is the most important thing. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  16. I just put a caliper to my chuckof stock I cut off and it is 5.000 inches tall and I couldnt get a good width measurement since I only cut off 1/4 inch. But it will be close to the kick eez KZ-102. After cutting off a 1/4 inch it measures 4.915 tall and 1.565 wide. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  17. I like the feature. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be on the short list to get dq'd if the ro happened to notice. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  18. The slide locks back on empty but when I seat a full mag the slide lock releases without me pushing it down it picks up a round everytime, so really if anything it speeds my reload up but I don't feel it is the safest function to have on my pistol. Any ideas what might be causing this? It did this in stock form and since I have added and Apex FSS and polymer trigger, SSS limited aluminum magwell and TTI basepads. All magazines are S&W factory mags. It also happens with Factory as well as reloaded ammunition.
  19. I leave them in unless mounting an optic but to remove them I take thr trigger group out and push them out with a small punch. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  20. The alluminum reciever is drilled and tapped so you can mount an optic. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  21. Has anyone traced their stock and compared it to the templates of all the Kick eez pads? I cut 1/4 inch off mine and I will trace both the original and the modified stock and see if I can't come up with something that fits.
  22. Limbsaver makes a precision fit pad for the stoeger m2000 (model # 10008). Would the dimensions be the same on the stock between the two models?
  23. It looked like quite a poke, but i wasn't sure with the wide angle lense. I know it would take all I have to shoot a star at 25 yds in 6 shots. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  24. I wish I had paved shooting bays to practice in. Great shooting, my daughter jusy turned 4 so it will be a while before we are shooting together. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  25. I guess I wasn't saying anything was fact I was just saying I didn't recommend it. It was just my $.02 on the matter. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
