It will be interesting to see what Troy has to say.My thought exactly. I was reading the rules this morning and per my interpretation (which has little meaning) my Springer Precision EZ slide racker would be legal in this division. As it completely replaces the striker retaining plate. And per the rule it states that that part can be replaced with aftermarket parts. Correct me if I am wrong. Also, if I am understanding the rule correctly my TTI basepad will be legal as well provided they do not exceed 140mm? Any help is appreciated. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

The Huldra x-pre2 which is exclusively sold at Mills Fleet Farm which is a Midwest based company is clearancing the entire line. The rifle normally retails at almost 2k and is on sale for like 975 right now it can be ordered online if they have any left. If I were a betting man I would say no simply because they are not producing anew actual firearm. The polymer frame is what is actually the firearm and that serial number is tied to a specific configuration of that firearm, and the factory configurations in which they are produced dictate the production gun list. I do jot have many rounds through my Apex barrel since I had shoulder surgery and have not been cleared to shoot a 2 handed grip yet. I can however talk about my fitting process. The muzzle on my 5" pro series was tight and took a fair amount of fitting on the muzzle end to get the barrel into the slide I Had to remove material in other spots other than where APEX shows in the video the rest of the fitting was easy and done within 40 minutes. I did have barrel springing so I used sharpie on the muzzle end to see my contact points and very slowly fit the muzzle end again to remove the springing. This was a first generation production barrel that I purchased at the end of February. I had to send it back to have the relief cut added and APEX just swapped me a new barrel since I had already fit the barrel. And my slide should be sitting in my mailbox when I get home. So I haven't shot a USPSA match as I started in 3 gun. I own the performance center ported CORE I am curious if I buy a threaded barrel will this be legal in carry optics. I would like to get a threaded barrel because ultimately I would like to run a supressor on this for my nightstand gun. I have a factory barrel from my pro series I can use if it's not legal and I will do that until APEX gets out of the communist Republic of California and starts producing their apex grade barrels with a threaded option. Is the lifter down far enough to allow the latch to move over. I have seen 1301's that needed the lifter tuned to allow the shell release button to work properly. Also is this an issue under live fire or just when trying to charge the gun?Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I run mine untrimmed on all my 12 round tubes both my Versamax an my m3000. My Springs are full length. I would definitely not go any shorter than 12". If I were you I would try replacing the follower. The orange plastic ones the come from Stoeger aren't that good. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Hey Randy what is the time line on moving out if CA? And after that happens when can we expect to see threaded apex grade barrels. I'm just trying to time my supressor purchase. I can't wait to get my hands on an Apex long slide. I am of the opinion that ports have gone too deep into the reciever and not far enough forward. I use a versamax competition tactical and I did no modification to the sides of the port only at the front. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Randy, the barrel I ordered this morning from Brownells (with 2-day shipping! Do want!!!)... will it have the cutout and modified ramp, or did they have a considerable number of the older ones on hand? I wonder how long they're keeping these in inventory before they move out. My gun is one of the earliest 9L's made which surely has a 1:18 twist, so I've been avoiding 147s thus far and I'm excited at this barrel's potential. I plan to fit it when tracking says it will arrive, on Thursday and shoot a few photos of the groups I manage with it in on Saturday morning - I'll run a few mags through it early that morning, then shoot an IPDA match with it. If the front end of my 9L's slide needs fitting, I'll hold off on that and contact you Friday morning, I suppose, given the issues the guys above were having. Unless you can describe right now where I'm going to need to remove material on whichever design of barrel that Brownell's is sending me, I'll plan to hold off and call you Friday morning if the muzzle of the barrel doesn't slip in without fitting, just in case the design I receive is different from your YouTube video. This gun has been cerakoted so I already anticipate needing to remove the coating in all of the places where the barrel is fit to the slide BEFORE beginning to remove material from the barrel, as well. Also - any suggestions for a recommended OAL for a bullet like the flat-nose 125gr I usually shoot? Brownells should have at least some of the updated barrels. I know that an order went out a couple of weeks ago. If yours doesn't, you can send it in to us before you begin the fitting process, and we can machine in the mods. The semi drop in from Apex is a great barrel. It does require fitting but a competent gunsmith or you can do it with just a few tools, and a little patience. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

After seeing an m3k in person for the first time last week. I think the port work is good it may just need to be opened at the front to push it forward just a little bit. The follower also could stand to be replaced I replaced the follower in my m3000 with a nordic one. I polished the outside of the mag tube on my m3000 where the action bar and recoil spring ride. The reset is a moot point as many others have said. I love my m&p pro. Between the apex trigger and my new Apex barrel I think I have cured my itch to get a 2011.
