That's odd. I bought my Apeiro about 6 months ago and it has the AET barrel. I paid $2499 for mine w/AET. How much did you pay for yours? Is it possible they only use the AET in the .40 version?

Man that's a sweet ride. I never get tired of seeing this pistol! lol How do you like the grip on it? How does it compare to a stock polymer grip (STI) that has been reduced and stippled?

Anybody got there hands on any of these yet? Kind of a cool concept but I doubt they will hold up well without the metal lining that OEM glock mags use. I think that in a few years, it will be bigger than Open.From what I am hearing from shooters Face to face I doubt it. All I heard were jokes about it at a level II this weekend. I'm just not convinced the grass roots support is there. I have yet to see one at a local here. There hasn't been any matches include carry optics in my area either. most reliable is using stock...... but I use 13lb for .40 and 11 lb for 9mm

I'm cornfused. The stage briefing said fire one shot per target, reload, fire one shot per target. Wouldn't that be a two procedurals for the two extra shots and two procedurals for not engaging t1 and t2 after the reload? Or would that be the double jeopardy thing? M&P core PC with porting but replacing the barrel with a non ported version is legal or not? I see people saying it is and it isn't. I believe as it stands now it is NOT legal. Someone local said this: 1 Procedural for Rule 10.2.2 (Not complying with written stage procedures) I don't think 10.2.4 (Reloads) would apply since he did reload when he was supposed to, even though he stacked his shots. 4 Procedurals for Rule 9.4.5.3 (Stacked shots) All targets scored as he hit them. So last Friday, we had a shooter who shot the classifier slightly different than the stage description. How would you score this, for the sake of simplicity lets say all 5 targets had 2 hits, 1 Alpha and 1 Charlie on each of the targets. CM 13-06 Stage Procedure: Upon start signal, draw and engage T1 - T5 with only one round each from within shooting box, make a mandatory reload and reengage T1 - T5 with only one round each from within the shooting box. The shooter shot T1 – T2 with two shots each The Shooter shot T3 – T5 with 1 shot each Shooter Reloaded The shooter shot T3 – T5 with 1 shot each How would you score this , and how many procedurals would you give the shooter.

It's not just the longer sight radius we're after. It's sight tracking. With the sight mounted on the barrel it's much easier to see in recoil. And faster for follow up shots. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk

But wasn't that the original intent of production? Guns that you would buy off the shelf? Now we have race guns that are pretty much limited guns without a magwell and a 10 round limit. Specifically the stock 2 with long dust cover and bull barrel. I think it weighs more than my sti limited gun!
