  1. two identical guns just one is 5" and one is 6". I would think that , if shooting ammo of the same PF, the 6" would have slightly less recoil impulse and muzzle rise due to a little more weight in the gun. But I'm wondering if it is enough difference to even be perceptible. But the 6" might be a little harder to swing around from target to target than the 5".
  2. Will a 6" pistol recoil less and have less muzzle rise than a 5" pistol shooting the same ammo? (or let's assume same PF through each gun).... I'm a little confused on this. What's the pros and cons of a 6" vs a 5" pistol?
  3. So you shot both the wildcat tracker 5.5 and the perfect sight with sleeved barrel and they both shot about the same for you? Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  4. What grip do you have on there? Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  5. I wish both of those beautiful examples were in 40 so you could do a fair comparison of the two... Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  6. Those are exactly the ones I'm looking at. Lol except in .40That one in 9mm must be really sweet. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  7. I know the "sight block" has been around for a long time but I wonder why it never really caught on and faded away. Seems to be making a comeback now since hybrid rib barrels are hard to get..... I made up sight block because that's what came into mind when I first saw one. Is that what other people call it too? So why do you think it is better over the "island barrel" variety? I'm not really understanding your explanation of "with the rules of limited it's the best way to go". Can you elaborate on that? Thank you! The builder of that sight block variety offers a tungsten sleeved barrel (which is also old news I understand lol) so I bet that would shoot like a pussy cat and track well. But with that much weight up front, I worry about side to side transitions..... Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  8. Is one better than the other or just two takes on the same goal? Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  9. Mopar orange! Check this out! I think it looks cool as hell. lol
  10. It's brand new but I didn't have to wait for it. Limcat built it for a distributor. I didn't see anything on the grip safety or any other marks. Maybe it was dust or oil/grease that showed weird on the video........ http://www.speedshooter.com/category_list.cfm?ID=PI&Pistols
  11. I didn't have this gun built. It was built for Speed shooters. I bought it from them. But they had some build specs on their site. It was pretty much a late night "impulse buy". But I did call limcat about it before I bought and asked a couple quick questions...... One thing I learned is that you get a free gun refinishing once a year. He said he wanted his guns to always look good. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  12. I emailed limcat and have already gotten a response. They don't understand how it left like that but they are taking care of it. They are sending me a UPS pick up. He said from the video it looks like it's going to need a new slide and barrel fitted. I'm thrilled they emailed me back on a Saturday night. Sounds like great customer service. 13. I already got an email response from the builder. Excellent customer service so far I must say. They are going to send me a UPS label and said the they would have to replace the slide and barrel. If they take care of the problem I good with that.
  14. will do. I sent them the video via email. If I don't hear from them I'll give him a call..........
  15. As long as it has great accuracy I'm good. I sent the builder an email with a video link and see what he advises..... I also talked to a limcat owner and he said it's pretty normal for them but they are very accurate and great guns. I think I will go ahead and give it a test run tomorrow and see how it does. Can't hurt anything, right!
  16. I don't think it is a rant or a dispute. Just asking if it was normal..... The builder has not been mentioned.
  17. I don't think anybody is beating up the builder at this point. Builder has not even been mentioned....... I sent the builder an email with a link to the video to see what he thinks about the issue.
  18. I haven't said anything to him. Just picked up the gun last night. I thought the reason custom costs so much was because all the parts were hand fit to tight tolerances. I guess I might as well go shoot it and see what it does. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  19. Well, I like a tight gun but consistent accuracy is all the matters. I haven't even shot it yet.
  20. Can you tell anything from my video? lol hard to keep it still.
  21. https://www.dropbox.com/s/qr3swwh5j0qf4em/00000.MTS?dl=0 I started a new thread but here is a video. What do you think?
  22. Does this seem right for a $4400 custom gun? My Sti has almost zero play. This new one slops around like a glock. BTW this is BRAND NEW unfired by me. Sorry for the poor video quality. Turn the sound up to hear the slide knocking. What do you think? https://www.dropbox.com/s/qr3swwh5j0qf4em/00000.MTS?dl=0
  23. Nope. Brand new. Trigger is phenomenal but the slide to frame is glock like. Terrible. I'll try and post a video of it. For $4400 gun I think it's ridiculous but I'm no gunsmith. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
