I worked that stage, and at least you were meaning to pull the trigger. ;--) Live and learn, people forget about that offset between bore and scope all the time especially on close range stuff.

just another option for the budget minded 3 gunner.

Not to sound like you dont know what your doing, but is the barrel nut torqued down properly? Maybe it got cross threaded. Just tryn to throw stuff out there to help.

If you go to Wal-Mart get the federal bulk pack, JMs dont like the cheap Winchesters.

It is unfortunate, but it was a great match and I can't wait for next years!

I worked stage 6, and yes there was 1 broken ankle and 1 broken leg from the slid. One was ? On the clock and the other was before the stage briefing. It was all about how you went down it.
And 2 AD dq's with rifle from the roof.

Low ready the buttstock is in your shoulder with the muzzle pointed in a downward angle. Port arms the buttstock is on or near your belt, near your hip/front pocket with the muzzle pointed up and out in front of your eyes.

Ok, do you have the mono tube @$249.00 or the 10 shot extension tube @ $99.00?
I was told the extension tube will bind the spring/follower where the two tubes connect??
I have the 10 round extention and have had 0 problems. The RCI spring is much better than the stock spring.

I have one on my JM, it works great! Its very strong!

That is outstanding customer service! MGM is now on my short list of vendors to buy from!

Im using the 13.5"on my 18" and the top rail just covers the gas block, so the 15" would be perfect. If you wait for a holiday Primary arms normally puts their rails on sale. Just sign up for the emails.

I have the 13.5 inch and it is light! The measurement they give you is for the top, the bottom is 1.5 inches longer at least on the 13.5 inch.

The 15inch is out of stock here, but if your not in a hurry maybe it can save you a few dollars.
I may be wrong but I think stag uses these on their 3g rifles. After looking its on the stag model 3T

do you have a picture? I couldn't get mine to fit.The RNT rapid release also works well and requires no drilling, taping or anything. Just slide it under the handguard.

Dates for a match over a year in advance! Spectacular.
Larry and crew put on probably the absolute best run match there is.
I do appreciate it! Its really hard for me to plan vacations a year (or more) in advance, but thats what work calls for.

No problem! I got tired of people telling me my Mossberg was a big pile of poop. So with a little love I showed them how good it could work.
I'll get that picture for you tomorrow after work.

I had to use a dremel and some polishing compound on the chamber of my JM. It doesn't take long, but the smoother you make it the better it will work. It still happens with Winchester shells maybe 1 out of 100, but haven't had any trouble with gun club or federal bulk packs.
usmc1094 - sorry to bother you again, but when you used the Dremel, how far into the chamber did you polish? The length of a shell or just an inch or so?
The other thing that bothers me is that I probably fired 300 or 400 rounds through the shotgun using the same shells as yesterday and it never had that problem, so what caused it now? I would think it would have happened sooner than after a few hundred rounds went through it.
Mine shot about 150-200 before anything went wrong. Since I've polished the chamber and added an RCI mag tube there has been zero problems. Probably close to 1000 rounds.
I do clean it after every match, including taking the gas piston apart. I think I have only touched up the polishing once, normally if there is anything in the chamber it just wipes away.
If you want I could probably try to take a picture of the chamber tonight.
-
I went as far as I could go. I use one of these because the regular dremel is to fat.
I use Nu Finish car polish.

I have to put in for next years vacation this week...does anybody know the dates for next year?

I have the tear drop version and it works great! I ordered it from the glock stores ebay store, the shipping was less for the same thing from the same people. This is the one I have. I really like it. Allows me to keep my grip and hit the mag release.

Stage 1 is either long gun slung (your choice)
stage 2 is rifle slung.

Other than I didn't notice that the shotgun had gone to bolt lock, not to bad of a stage.
