  1. MATCH FEE $280 The match will be held at a Tier 1 Training Location pretty much state of the art ranges, on location housing and food. The prize table will be VERY deep with some interesting sponsorship...as for the stages "unlike the average event", mostly because of the awesome location but remember this is about honoring Navy SEALs.... Here is a taste of what went down at a similar event we did to honor Duskin and Stephens US Army SF Members... http://youtu.be/M1iOEMvpTo8 This looks like a BLAST! I can't wait to make it out for this match!
  2. I would like to say that the young lady that played the violin was OUTSTANDING! Although I must have been allergic to something in the room because my eyes started to get all watery for a minute.
  3. Look for "post to page by others". Sorry I can't give you a hot link from my phone https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=451944708342586&id=288603091343416
  4. Awards/prizes/party starts roughly an hour after last shot is fired. Event is casual dress but wear your party hat. My casual dress is at the cleaners after that terrible homecoming incident. Ok if I just go with shorts & a T-shirt?
  5. I've been running one for 3 years now and never had a problem with retention on my G24. Tension is tight enough to run yet light enough to get a fast, smooth draw.
  6. It was listed on their facebook page. "Use coupon code DADS15% at checkout."
  7. Congrats! With the 15% discount.......you should get 2 of them. You'll thank me after the next big match with a 40+ round shotgun stage.
  8. You won't be disappointed. Make sure to get at least 1-23 round mag also! EDIT: Sorry norbs. I mistook you for the OP when I posted.
  9. I shoot a Tooth & Nail MKA XN. It runs 100% on 1145 shells. I'm running a mid barrel comp with a Burris FF3 for a dot. They are great shotguns and in my opinion the best open shotgun out there.
  10. Another vote for Carlson chokes. I like the way they are labeled so you can easily grab the right choke out of your case.
  11. My handguard used to wiggle a bit also. after I changed out to the T&N op rod with a good nut on the end I was able to torque it down better and now its rock solid.
  12. At first I had an Ergo F93 stock on my MKA but shortly after I switched to the SAS aluminum lower I switched to he ACE. Now I run an ACE on both my rifle & my MKA. The shotgun has a short ACE with the 1" butt pad and the rifle has the standard ACE with no butt pad. The angle of the (crappy iPhone) pictures look like there is more length difference but the Shotgun LOP is 12.5" & the rifle is 13".
  13. I went with a T&N complete gun shortly after they started building them. It's been a great shotgun & their Customer service can't be beat. I will say that it had a few quirks at the start as they were new to the platform also. Matt & Josh never hesitated one bit to listen to me to help diagnose any issue and soon it was running 100% and has been ever since. I have dropped in at their shop several times for modifications or upgrades & Josh dropped everything to work on it while I was there, all the while showing me what was needed and making sure I knew all I needed to maintain my shotgun. Thanks to them I've learned a lot about it. Whether you choose to build it or buy it they will always bend over backwards to get you the shotgun that you want.
  14. Leave it to me to make something so simple into something so difficult! That's exactly what I need. I never thought of checking directly with ACE and somehow it never came up in any google search I tried. The Brownells package will be just perfect. Problem solved.
  15. For the guys competing with an ACE Skeleton stock on your rifle, I'm looking for a way to install a push button quick attachment. Preferably a VTAC set-up. What do you use & who makes it? I found this old thread and really like the picture posted by user "CAS" although I've not yet been successful finding the swivel ends he is talking about. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=104598&&p=1199937&&page=2#entry1199937 Pictures and/or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  16. I'm always the odd-ball but I still run my G24 .40cal. I started with 40 & just like you OP, I had all the gear, mags & reloading material & I didn't want to buy all new 9mm stuff. I rarely see a stage where being a couple rounds shy of the 9mm guys hurts me and shooting an almost major load with 180's, I never have a problem with the steel failing to fail.
  17. I got a T&N 1919 not long after they went into business. I think mine was in one of the first shipments of XN models. It's been a great shotgun & I'll garuantee you that you won't find a better example of customer service. These guys live, breathe, eat & sleep MKA 1919's and they do it well.
