I have just ordered a new upper with an 18" rifle length action. The question for me is about which buffer to use to get best reliability. Should I used a rifle buffer and tube or should I use an H buffer with mil-spec tube?

It looks promising. Is a 28" barrel good for 3 gun? If they're still around when I get back from vacation in mid-June, I will probably snatch one up.

Has anyone tried the Nikon Blackforce 1-4? It looks to be reasonably priced.

Looking at buying a new shotgun this summer, finally after 2 years of waiting. I was wondering would the B12 or the Versa be a better choice. I know the versa is a softer shooter but I question it's long term durability and reliability compared to the B12. I am an occasional 3 gun shooter now so I don't want to drop a huge amount on a M2. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!

I am thinking about a budget shotgun for 3gun(bank of dad is broke). If you are willing to clean it after each match is the 930 JM Pro viable or should I just go for a M3000/M3K? How do both of these hold up? Or is my old 1187 going to do as well as both of these for reliability and durability? I already have the easyloader and extended tube on it.

Yes. What parts would you replace to make it compliant? I know which I replace on an AK but am unfamiliar with various shotguns. Thanks!

With the exception of the VersaMax because it is made in America, do any of these others have to have mods to comply to 922R when you put on the mag tube extension?

How do you plan to reload? Load 2/4? Traditional weak hand? Or? IMO. Stoeger M3K has an acceptable lifter out the box. I'm planning load 2.

Just a quick question. If I wanted to buy a semi shotgun and only add a tube extension what would be the best option? Do any have an acceptable lifter off the shelf?

Has anyone had experience with the 1-6X IOR Pitbull 2? I have a fixed power 4x24 IOR and like it but have read some bad reviews on IOR variable power scope but have read their quality has improved since 2008. Thanks for any info you can give!

Do the CGW trigger return springs last longer than the stock 75 springs? Also are they legal for production?

That is a very good price. I love my Shadow.

My comp gun is a CZ SP01 Shadow, my carry gun is either a CZ P01 or 75BD. My holders are a little diffferent. For Comp I use a Blade Tech DOH, for carry I use a High Noon Slideguard since it prints a lot less.

I use my shadow for both USPSA and 3 gun and have never had any complaints about the gun. My CZs have always been 100%, but I clean them after every match and practice session. I have had the m&p and it is a good pistol but I shoot the shadow much better. The one thing you do have to remember when you use a CZ is the gun has to be put on safe when it is grounded where a M&P or Glock can be just put in the bucket.

How is the Mossberg 590 for quad load? Also, what about the 835. I would think that its 3 1/2 loadport would help it a lot.

If you are going load 2, you don't need rounds on the forearm for when the bolt locks back. It is MUCH faster to drop one in then slide the second in the tube. The 11/87 is not the easiest to load, but it can be done. Send me a PM with a photo of the loading port and where you are getting stuck and I'll help walk you through it. Thanks! Meanwhile is there a good step by step slow video on the load 2 method? I'm not sure if I am even close to right.

I'm trying to get used to loading my 1187 which I modified for 3 gun with a DMW easyloader and extension tube. One thing I think would like is a shellholder for a couple of shells on my forearm to load one in the chamber when the bolt locks back. Who makes them? Also what is the best way to use the load 2 or quad method in an 1187? I'm practicing but the second round seems to get hung on the rim of the 1st during the load.

I've tried both in small trial batches. I seem to get better groups from the HBFP for some reason but I think I need to do some work on my seater for the round nose and then it may do OK.
