Just finished running 600(500 rounds Nato 124g and 100 rounds HST 147g+p) rounds through my new Sphinx SDP Alpha Compact. The gun has been flawless. Double action is smooth and breaks clean, CGW springs took it to 8lbs. SA is right at 4 and super crisp with a short reset. It's super accurate friom a rest, as well as naturally pointing well like CZ variants tend to. I could not be happier with it and have ordered a subcompact as well. Full size full metal with adjustable sights is on the way...

I'll have a spotting scope too...

Yes they are. Chad and Jeff lasered targets so yall would know what to expect. Information helps the competitors prepare and prepared competitors usually shoot better and have more fun. This shit is why this match is one of the premier matches in the county in year two....

Most major matches are 75-125 rounds per gun. Usually I bring 20-30 rounds per gun per stage and 20 slug and 20 buck. That way my kid always has someone to borrow ammo from if dad screws up....

There are six pro matches this year just like you saw online. Six guys with two ultimately moving on to the 50k Shootoff. Lots if coverage for each shooter for one episode. It's a TV show first and foremost....

So I should fill out a scholarship form for every major I have him entered in now? Do I need to follow up with a email with a scoring link? How are you going to handle kids like John or Tim that will shoot a bunch of majors vs a kid that just shoots one or two? I totally support spreading the money around. Say John has 5 majors by August 15. Will you hold back on reimbursement for some until you see what your apps are for the fall matches.

Have they? I guess I see more +5's in other rule sets around my area. At least last year. I ROd all the pro series matches in 2014 and that is for sure how it went. 2.5 for FTN, 5 for missed target, 7.5 for FTE.

I don't know about regional, but pro series rules have always been +2.5 for FTN.

My son and I are very experienced(3GN Pro Series, etc) ROs and would be happy to work your match. I can provide references.
