  1. The cutting blade is backwards? That's worth a try, thanks for the info guys. If that doesn't work I'll try some of the other tips to the meager extent of my mechanical ability....then I'll either come back here, or call Dillon again. Thanks!
  2. Hi, I bought a Dillon electric case trimmer a few months to help with loading .308, but am having problems. I load on a Dillon 550 and have for twenty years but just .45, .40, 9mm, .38 Super, etc, so no experience with case trimming. Here's what the case looks like after trimming....it's crushing the case, not trimming it. When I put the bullet in to seat it, it just mangles it. As you can see the case wall is thicker after trimming but I don't know why? I called Dillon who told me that I could have dinged the cutting blade, so I checked, and I had. But then I switched it to another edge-it's got three cutting sides in a triangle shape-and it still does the same thing, so I'm stumped. Can anybody that has experience with this machine tell me what I'm doing wrong.... I'll be the 1st to admit that I'm "mechanically challenged" so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  3. Hi: I finally made the jump, and registered. I'm a shooter in Canada, and have found this site to be a wealth of info. Peter
