  1. Thanks for the responses. Ya I think my 1/16" punch is cheap and a little over sized. My company has a account with Grainger so bought a real good roll pin punch and a 100 pack of the 1.5mm x 12mm safety roll pins lol. That's the only size they had so I'll have a ton and only cost $7.89 shipped to my house. Can't beat that. If anyone needs a couple hit me up should be here by the end of the week.
  2. Ok well tried to make a pouch and messed up the safety pin a little. Anyone know who sells them? I've looked and can't find them listed anywhere
  3. What size punch is needed to remove the Saftey? 1/16 is to big....
  4. Gdub I have a new henning coming Monday. I'll mail you mine when I pull it off if you want it, PM me
  5. My Stock II cost me an Apple watch....good thing she don't know about all the parts ice ordered for it lol
  6. Yup I emailed Eric and he confirmed this. The Xtreme parts are chrome plated so you don't have to polish all the parts. If you've already polished your trigger, sear housing & sear then there real no need to use these. I haven't done my mine yet as I just got my gun so I'm thinking hard about ordering and saving time. The Xtreme FPB is a extended block per Eric also.
  7. I've seen them go for between $1600-$1700 on gun broker all day lately. I'd bet it will sell no problem. I bought one last week from my local gun shop and paid normal price.... Just have to be patient
  8. Some guys can reload with 140's better than 170's..... I only run a 170 if I don't have to reload. Just preference of what I've been used to
  9. Anyone know where you can buy a extended FPB? I know last round sells them it there back ordered and can't find anyone else selling them
  10. I ordered it Friday, so still waiting on it to come in. I post an update as soon as I put it in. I did get my EGD grips. They feel great. Way smaller than the factory wood. Some people say they are to small but for me their perfect fit. Super happy with them.
  11. Quick question off the topic. Adam told me and believe I understood him and this is right but bugged him enough today lol. if I buy a Titan hammer it is just a drop in part correct? Not replacing the stock sear or disconnector right now.... Thanks
  12. ok so I ordered the Henning upgrade kit.... working on possible getting a EGD grip from someone not wanting them anymore. looking but not having much luck, Wheres the best place to get mags?
  13. Thanks lol.... Think I'm going to start with Hennings upgrade kit. Talked with him on the phone. Super helpful guy. That and polishing, Then the Xtreme grips due to my short d#%k beaters
  14. Ya I believe he does run one. Thanks I'll try and get with him
  15. Picked up my new stock II today. I'm a open shooter that's wanting to play in production. I really don't want to shoot this till it's had all the upgraded components. Now my question. What's needed to make this thing be the cats ass? Is there a Tanfoglio gun smith that I can send it to and have everything done or is it all simple to do myself
  16. I bought 3 140's and a 170 when they first came out. So far I've had no issues but reading all this makes me feel like I got a time bomb in my hand
  17. I run a 2 sided mount. My Cmore is centered
  18. You are not alone. I bought two magazines, weeks apart, and they both are doing the same - will take 29, which is what my SVI mags do. One of them is slightly better now, I can REALLY force 30 rounds into it, and even lock it in my gun, but with a ton of force - would not try that at the match. But I am using the SVI stainless grip - maybe that is responsible? Are you guys hand loading them or using an Uplua loader? Everyone I've talked with gets 30+1 9mm & 38sc
  19. +1 for Ace Hardware also check out any hobby store that sells RC cars and planes as they sell a lot of small screws
  20. http://www.brazoscustom.com/Home.htm Go to the tips and tricks page and then click on the slide lock info at the bottom
  21. After fitting a SVI grip to a STI frame. What mags do you run? Still STI/MBX or do you need to run SVI mags now?
  22. I fit a STI aluminum and PT SS grip and was tighter than a plastic grip it not so tight you need to beat it on and off. No issues with either.
