With the limit to only 10 rounds i'm thinking the TF +0 brass pads might be my only option... as far as I can tell.

I don't have many options in Canada for Glock, so spent a pile all at once from Bobby and SJC. I don't even want to see my VISA. I have a small child for sale.

There's just no way I can justify the extra $$ for the custom shop unit. 90% can be done right at home.

I think one of those mods is ok.. the other i'm a little concerned about. but that's just me.

Bobby has been fantastic... but if you are interested in a horizontal mount SJC makes one.

so what are you guys who run open glocks doing (if anything) to your mags when shoving them in those big magwells? large baseplates so they are easy to fire in? is so, what do you recommend?

I'm completely learning too... In my reading I realised as well that Glocks weren't as heavy (to start out with) and that may make them a little twitchy. I also started discovering things like Brass Magwells, and Tungsten extended length guiderods. I wonder how close one would be to a 2011 open gun in terms of weight and/or ballance at that point? For me, trigger was the only hold out. For $1600 vs. $3300 (cheapest for me up here in Canada) I will put a 2# completely adjustable glock trigger kit in and see how it works.

Stupid magazine limits in Canada... I guess pumps are the norm here for that reason.

predicting target location gets me into a lot of trouble. Heed HS820's advice.

You have just discovered that most shotguns in NA are too low. They promote shooting with your head off the stock. You cannot push your face into the stock too hard.. stay the course! The first think I do to and beretta or benelli auto is put the highest shim in and it is barely enough. My o/u's have fitted stocks so that's not an issue.

I've shot it. I liked it alot and the KO is nice as I've become used to 24gr shells. Even the 1 1/8 loads punish me these days. If you have a 391 that fits I would not suggested upgrading but I would not steer anyone away from the A400
