I did the very same thing when I first took mine apart and I got the answer with a picture right in this forum.

You have to be a little more clear in your expectations. Do you want to live in a trailer and shoot every day or live in a good school area and be within a quick drive to a match? I only shoot. 3 gun and we have 3 or 4 matches a month nearby. There is a lot of IDPA and uspsa as well. I would say houston has some of the most diverse shooting match options around......

Good event today. Even in the rain. I enjoyed the open format and opportunity to work on multiple runs through each stage worth feedback and coaching from the group. Look forward to the next one. Glad Nick got to keep his hair styled and out of the rain. Lol Suggest next time we incorporate some drill activities like 9 hole barricade, etc

I'm thinking I had to work down to a bad batch as I had already shot one and a half cases of the stuff without problem. The last 8 boxes had me having this problem first with my over and under then my versamax. Going to save the last boxes to shoot in the wife's coach gun. Did learn that an F150 key will fit right up in the primer hole of the hull and pull it out of the barrel. Lol

I've shot 1-1/2 cases of 7.5 Remington Heavy Dove loads. Just recently I have experienced the brass base separating on these last few boxes of shells. I have had this happen on my over and under and recently with my versamax which cost me about 20 sec on a qualifier. I'm about to throw the last few boxes away and move to AA or something. Has anyone else had this experience with Remington Heavy Dove?
