Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Watching the others just makes me see how much I have to learn. It's best to focus on what I'm planning.
  2. Hard core. Here in Texas its only cold for two months anf I'm in front of a warm fire.
  3. Play follow the leader but shooting limited 10 often means you have to make your own plan.
  4. I like the statement "drive the gun". It means you control the shot and not letting the gun force the 2nd shot. By driving the gun you eliminate many mistakes.
  5. Relax and have fun. speed and accuracy follows.
  6. Tough habits to learn but its all in being safe. I rest my trigger finger on the ejection port. Provides a positive identifable place to put the finger.
  7. Just don't make yourself a target for Homeland Security :-)
  8. Sounds like you are getting squared away!
  9. I'm shooting at Austin Rifle Club. Doing IDPA matches. Especially the IDPA Carbine. Thanks for the Invites
  10. Another good remedy is a teaspoon or so of 160 proof white lighting. doesn't get you drunk but its amazing how the arthitis pains ease up. Granny on Beverly Hillbilies had it right.
  11. Hi, I've been out to watch some IDPA and recently shot a classifier and was very disappointed in my expectations of myself. Never been a good test taker. It's a lot harder than it looks :-)
