    Remember also dillon has a lifetime warranty on the loader so if you suspect it send it to them . I had a mishap where i thought i didnt powder a round and cap a bullet on it. the next day i went back thru all 100 rounds pulling then and resetting the charge in them one at a time. I admit i get a little ocd when reloading. I pull every 5th round sometimes when im working a ladder for new powder and bullet combo i will do each round individually. when ever you return to the reloader make sure you know what powder was in it. Did anyone make any changes. if i leave my reloader set up with powder in it i place a sticky not on the powder holder with what grain its throwing and what powder is in it. i also leave the powder container right next to the press. If i am switching heads i empty all powder from the unit. so they dont get mixed up .. Glad to hear no one was hurt its a scary thing...

    with this one i would suggest if you do the apex i would do all the apex. like the RAM, trigger competition only ( its light and amazing tho i did keep the regular trigger) and all upgradable parts. My last practice session i got a few draw times on target ( +1 ) but under 1 sec registering a .94 and a .99. so practice makes perfect. I was sierra jacketed bullets with TG but have since switched to bear creek bullets so i am still working on getting the powder adn load ready but will post when i have it. But i did open a facebook page called Jeffstroudshootist if anyone wants to hook up on facebook and talk or share match data places and events...

    Would like to try to use one powder and a guy told me clays but everyone says clays wont work for 9mm. so my question is what powder do you use with moly bullets and 9mm minor 125 147 grain 40 180 major and 45 230 major ... Not trying to start war of the worlds just trying to fig this out. tho i will be using clays for a while for 45 since i have 8 lbs left.. So powder choices are vv320 good but i can buy 4lbs of wst for 1 lb of this around here.. 231 WST Solo 1000 clays seeing if your paying attention ???

    Ok so whats a good powder for 9mm 40 major and 45 major .. using bear creek bullets is there one good powder or do you need different powders for all 3 ? trying to simplify my life but if i cant then i cant. lots of people talking solo and wst and 231.. is one good all around?

    Loading for STI steelmaster , M&P pro 5" , also looking at using the moly bullets for my 40 and .45 . but was looking to see if anyone had any good bad reviews. i use titegroup for all 3 loads now so was hoping to stick with that powder.

    stage 4 at our local indoor club match ( slow shooting i know but first match wanted more accuracy than speed ) Also wish barrels were taller..

    Was looking at switching from the normal jacketed bullt to the black moly bear creek or another brand moly for practical purposes ( cost mostly) anyone have good experiences with these ? also what do you load data do you use jacketed or lead data ? How is the accuraccy ?

    Well first local match done and results are in i took first place in ssP catagory edged out closest competitor by just over a second. Also learned that i must get back to the range after doing a load to work the kinks out of all my competition handguns. (lesson learned) Brought out my M&P for the match with the new PF loads forgot to put a lesser tension spring in the pistol but after a shackey start and a re-shoot i was able to get the lighter spring in and finish the match. With no more hickups. all and all a great day of fun with a gun.

    Lol hear that ... well first local indoor tournament is tomorrow hoping to do well. Will be shooting my M&P 9L all apexed out. just finished handloading the 100 rounds for the match round count they said would be 73 but you know how that goes. Think im going to do another 50 just to be safe ...

    Well 1/15/2013 worked my loads up and got a pretty good grouping at 15 yards 6 shot sub 1 inch on my STI uspsa 1911 and my S&W 625 Fresh back from Clark custom guns. Need to get more bullets. First part of my practice with my m&p went great. times not the fastest but all Center . faster but not as acurate.Need more dry fire. Yes i know i need to lose weight also. going to get more video so i can really watch my draw and my presentation. More and practice. Hard to do with the temp outside at -10 degrees. I love the idea of being able to log on here whats up. Local IDPA match list Jan 20, 2013, Feb 17, 2013 Mar 17, 2013 and Apr 14, 2013 all indoor matches. Goals: gym 3 days a week Pool 2 times a week shooting at least 2 live fire sessions and 3 dryfire a week.

    the gun for this will be my S&W 625 with a full clark custom compitition job on it and my new STI 1911 single stack. i realize they may not like the same loads for accuraccy reasons. but i hope i can find a speed load for 230 grain that each will like even if i have to load one hotter thatn the other.. I just didnt want to have to do 185 for the 1911 and 230's for the revolver

    Simple post with not A SIMPLE ANSWER, what do you feel the perfect grain weight for .45 is to hit 165 PF heavy and slow or more speed and lighter? Do you get a big difference in felt recoil when you go lighter? was thinking 230gr and 800 fps but your thoughts?

    Springfields are good but i woudl recomend replacing all the mim parts. good starting platform and the ro is a good a jump point as any ..

    I think i found your problem .. in the second and fourth picture you put up ... as you can clearly see ....22 17.59.09.jpg and the 22.17.59.48.jpg in the lower right corner ... Its a glock.. get a sig problem solved JK i think your on to it with the safety deburring...

    Any one know the outta teh box accuracy? Im looking for kind of an all around 1911 ( i know bad choice get specifically built to purpose guns.) Looking to do a few local bullseye matches and idpa cdp division and steel challenge with a single stack match or two. i know usually that would equal 4 or 5 guns but trying to see if i can do a all around good pairing. any help would be greatly appreciated .....

    I live where shooting comps are not that common and the ones that are some steel targets will flop with a 9 but a 40 does help knock them over faster and easier.

    i shoot comp IDPA and like with S&W M&P 9L 40L and Limited, Limited 10 and 3 gun with STI Edge and sometimes the m&p but carry a SIG 239 and a Keltec 380 back up (in case i cant get to one i have a secondary.)

    Me and the wife did insanity for 30 days then we got to busy and couldn't find time to do it, with our busy schedules. but in 30 days results were amazing.
